We only need a small performance area (around 4m x 3m) with access to one power socket for the guitar amplifier. The saxophone and double bass are fully acoustic. A few chairs are appreciated if available.
We’d like to know if parking is available nearby and where we can unload our instruments.
We usually perform acoustically and only bring a small amplifier for the guitar. We don’t provide PA or lighting, but we can easily connect to an existing sound system if one is available.
Yes, if there’s a sound system in place, we can manage background music from Spotify before, after, or between sets.
We arrive about thirty minutes before the performance. Our setup is quick, we don’t need technical support and we take up very little space since there’s no drum kit. We can play outside as long as it’s not cold and it’s not raining.
Recently we performed at a renowned jazz club in Krakow. The room had a fantastic energy with a full house of jazz listeners, creating one of those nights where everything just clicks.
We enjoy any situation where people truly listen and appreciate live music, from jazz clubs and festivals to private events with a relaxed and genuine atmosphere.
We met while studying and playing around the Dutch jazz scene and started performing together regularly in clubs and small festivals. Since then, we have played dozens of concerts across the Netherlands and Belgium, developing a strong group sound over time.
Our influences come from the great American jazz masters including Sonny Rollins, Wes Montgomery, Ray Brown, and Ahmad Jamal. Choosing one song is impossible, but “Body and Soul” perfectly captures the essence of why we play jazz.
We usually arrive about 30 to 60 minutes before the performance as setup is very quick. We normally play 2 sets of 45 minutes, but we can adjust if needed.
Yes, we can perform outdoors as long as it is not cold or raining, and there is a flat, stable surface. Access to a nearby power socket for the guitar amplifier is appreciated.
Clients can suggest songs as long as they are within our genre, meaning jazz and nothing else. We usually handle the set list to maintain a natural flow, but we’re happy to include client requests within our style.
Our performances are often described as swinging, engaging, and authentic. Audiences appreciate the groove, the interplay between musicians, and the connection to classic jazz traditions.
We focus on classic American jazz built on swing, blues language and straight ahead standards. It fits well in clubs, private events and any setting that needs an elegant and rhythmic sound.
