East West Rest is a jazz guitar trio dedicated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for your event. With a repertoire ranging from mellow swing and tasteful bossa nova to reimagined jazz standards, we offer a stylish and elegant mood, ideal for weddings, dinners, corporate event, and private gatherings.
Blending international influences with a shared passion for timeless jazz, East West Rest Trio delivers a polished sound that elevates any occasion.
Our international trio consists of Imanol Emede (Argentina) on guitar - from the West, Tian Zhang (China) on double bass - from the East and Giannis Paterakis (Greece) - from the Rest.

We only need power for the guitar amp
If the venue is not reachable by public transport, the travelling expenses are going to be higher

We only need an amp as sound equipment for ourselves. We do not provide lighting equipment
If asked before hand we can provide a small speaker to play music from Spotify before and in between our sets. We have a playlist made specifically for making a nice atmosphere when we are not playing. The client can also choose the music.
We often perform in Amare, Den Haag which is one the best venues in all of the Netherlands
We love playing at all sorts of events but weddings, corporate events and private gatherings are our favorite!
We normally arrive 1 hour before the performance but that depends a lot on the location and the type of the event. We normally perform 2 sets of 45 minutes, but we are happy to play longer or shorter.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area
We have our own repertoire but the client can request up to 5 songs which have to be expressed enough time before the event
