Review Centre: Acoustic Bands

"We needed a band for our wedding in Lisbon. Given we had a themed wedding (rock and heavy metal), we’ve been looking for a band playing in this genre. We were so glad to have found Rocktonight, and when they sent us their setlist, there could be no other choice! We aren’t from Lisbon ourselves and all our guests were coming from somewhere else, so looking for a band had to be done remotely, and we weren’t able to meet the band in advance. But the communication with the band was great, with Laura replying to all our questions promptly. In addition, we somehow managed to pick the hottest day of summer for the wedding, but Laura and co. took up that challenge! They have been absolutely awesome! Not only they made everybody dance (mainly, jump), but they also learned our wedding song (a ballad by Steel Panther), which wasn’t an easy one to learn. Needless to say, all our guests were amazed by the band too! We doubt the party would have been the same without them. Highly recommended!"

"The Cheers are a real talent and brought our night alive! Our first dance went so well that people thought we'd prepared it! The set list you'd put together was so on point and us, and the backing music was really great too - watching my bride lose it at my chemical romance and fallout boy and rock out entirely was a moment that will live on happily from the day. "My (now husband, then partner) and I had the pleasure of first seeing HayLee perform at my sister’s wedding a few months ago and we absolutely loved them, so we were delighted that we were able to book them to play at our own Wedding. HayLee did not disappoint! They exceeded expectations (which were already pretty high having already seen him previously) and their musical talents speak for themselves. Hayley’s vocals were sublime, and Lee compliments perfect with harmonies and are one of the most talented guitar players! We received so many compliments about their performance that I'm sure we'll see them at friends' weddings in the future! HayLee is a must!"

"Johnny Miner was absolutely exceptional. He played the bagpipes at my uncle’s funeral, and it could not have been more perfect. From the beginning, he was incredibly kind and thoughtful—he expressed his sincere condolences and took the time to understand exactly what our family wanted. He asked about specific songs we preferred and even provided a suggested outline for how his services could flow, which was very helpful during a difficult time. What stood out most was his flexibility and willingness to accommodate every detail. He made sure everything aligned with what my aunt wanted and adjusted seamlessly to meet her requests. His professionalism, timing, and presence added a deeply meaningful and respectful tone to the service. The music was beautiful and moving—exactly what we were hoping for. His pricing was also completely acceptable and fair, especially considering the quality of service and care he provided. "The perfect group for a perfect day, we chose the acoustic duo for our drinks reception and it was so beautiful and perfect for the occasion, these guys were a pleasure to talk to and couldn’t do enough for us, shortly after the meal and speeches our evening guests started to arrive and the full band were ready to entertain, they allowed us to cherry pick some of our favourite songs as well as our first dance, they really seem to enjoy what they do and encouraged everyone to dance, these guys were great fun and we are so glad they were free on our date, 5 stars guys!"
