Review Centre: Wedding Ceremony Musicians

"Jake was such a great addition to our teens’ dinner party. Our guests loved his music, little kids danced under the tree lights while the adults enjoyed dinner and drinks, and people kept complimenting how fun and talented he was throughout the night. He played for three hours with breaks of course but impressive! He also played such a great variety of songs, and at one point my husband looked over and said, “Is he playing Enrique Iglesias?” — and it turned out to be one of our proposal songs, which made the night feel extra special and personal, even if he didn’t know that was one of our songs. Jake arrived early to set up, communicated clearly before and the day of the event, and was always easy to reach. He created such a warm, joyful atmosphere and truly made the evening memorable. Highly recommend him for any gathering! I hope to see him again when my friends book him in the future and of course he’ll be in my list of hire as well. Thank you Jake for a wonderful evening!!!"

"I hired this band for my 40th birthday party 1920’s casino themed. Matthew the band leader was great and professional in our first meeting. I had a lot of questions and he was patient with me answering everything. On the load in day of the party they had their sound team present and on time !!!! The band showed up on time and ready to go and I requested two songs that they killed !!!! We had an awesome time and they played like it was no tmrw !!!! I still get compliments about this party because of this band and I will definitely hire them again and again. They are true musicians dedicated to being the best and putting out quality work. One of the things I liked the most about this band is when they do this free style song and they invite others to preform with them. It’s awesome to see it and you never know how or who would kill the mic. Best band ever !!!!! "

"We booked Neo Roots after months of research, as we wanted a band that could offer flexibility across genres and eras to keep all of our guests happy at our wedding. A band can truly make or break a wedding or party, and it’s safe to say Neo Roots absolutely MADE ours they were exceptional. From our very first meeting, the band were incredibly responsive, flexible, and genuinely listened to what we wanted musically. On the day, they arrived early to set up and carry out a sound check, being very mindful of our small venue so as not to disrupt our wedding breakfast or celebrations. When I discovered that our ceremony venue had a grand piano, they kindly agreed to play during our ceremony at very short notice, which was such a special touch. As for the evening set what can I say? The dance floor was packed all night. Guests couldn’t believe the music was live because the vocals sounded that good. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering, a small venue celebration, or a large wedding with hundreds of guests, don’t hesitate to book Neo Roots. You will not regret it. They were truly one of the best parts of our wedding day."

"Wow! What an incredible duo! We were lucky enough to find Swite Duo and made contact with them so see if they could perform at our wedding. Luckily they were available and we confirmed the booking. From there on, they were so helpful, friendly and wonderful to work with. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They were able to perform our music selections for our ceremony, plus a huge repertoire of other songs. They made our day so special. From the moment they began to play to the end of their performance, they were nothing short of perfection! All of our guests commented on how wonderful they were and how perfect the music was. The music was beautiful and made many of our guests emotional. A huge thank you to them both and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They’re wonderful!"

"An amazingly talented guitarist. His impeccable performance is soothing to the ears and to the soul. His expert fingers move as gently on the strings of guitar as the notes that come out of it will gently touch the strings of your heart. He's also a super lovely guy, which is always a plus when dealing with someone professionally."
