"Ours is the largest Elvis festival in the world with around a hundred Elvis Tribute Artists taking part. Established in 2004, the highlight of the event is the Elvies Award Show. In 2019 we created a new diversity award and presented it to Elberace. Being honest, I was concerned how our audience of die-hard Elvis fans would support an act outside of the orthodox box. However, Elberace blew the roof off, both at the award show and also at the live show BBC broadcast from the Festival. We brought him back last year and the audience reaction was the same. Outside of actual performance , professionally as a producer, I found James very easy to work with. 100% professional and reliable. "

"Hi Bertie We're both still decompressing from our wedding day but I wanted to drop you a note to say a massive thank you for Saturday. Your set on the lawn was our absolutely favourite part of the day, and a lot of people have said the same! We appreciate the extra effort you put in, the energy was amazing and we will forever remember it. "

"James Haslam is a consummate performer, and the fact that he shows great skill and flair when he is on stage proves he is demonstrating a sincere homage and respect for the real Elvis. It is no surprise that he won a Diversity Award at the recent Porthcawl Elvis Festival. James’s rapport with the audience is immediate encouraging enthusiastic participation – bringing nearly all his audience onto his stage. It’s all there: the gyrating hips, the lip curl, the arm movements, the shaking of the torso. This is an act of pure robust energy performed in a unique style. Upbeat, joyful and immense fun. Elberace works because Haslam has studied the man, the legend, and what Elvis stood for as an exceptional showman and the ‘King of Vegas’. Stand out numbers include Walk A Mile In My Shoes and Suspicious Minds. A fabulous show – and I’m sure James’s star will rise to great heights on the current cabaret circuit (10 / 10) "

"We booked Gay Elvis for Southampton Pride 2022 and were absolutely delighted with his performance, professionalism and pazazz! The crowd adored him and from an organising committee's point of view, he was a dream to work with. The communication was great all the way through the process, he was quick at responding to requests and sending tracks and promo material and we would highly recommend him to anyone! Needless to say we have booked him again for Southampton Pride 2023 and can't wait to have him back!"

Your livestreamed performance for my friend's 60th birthday was the perfect present! You produced the excitement of a live venue to our screens with your incredible energy as Elberace. So professional. You are such a natural performer. You urge everyone to have so much fun, it is infectious! "James was brilliant to work with from the start and very clear and helpful about what the act involved etc. James was also professional and flexible when we were faced with some unexpected venue issues. All of our guests had a fantastic time, and James was a complete riot. We would definitely book Elberace again, highly recommended and great value! (10 / 10) "

"Johnny “Bruno Mars” Rico delivered! He came all the way from LA to El Cajon and made my girlfriends birthday a blast! He mixed so well with our family and friends that they are still talking about it and will be for years to come! I highly suggest him. He had the look, the clothes, the mannerisms and the voice. This was such an incredible event and Johnny made it exceptional!"
