Photo of One Eyed Cats One Eyed Cats "So, according to the One Eyed Cats website they are a … High-octane rock & roll, cool blues, jumping rhythm, driving rock or a hair-down sing-along, the Cats always deliver. And deliver incredibly well. Their large line up is suited to their huge sound, with a fiery brass section, rocking guitar and rolling piano. Their music is always lively, passionate and entertaining. They always aim to lift the roof off, rock socks off and leave everybody fully entertained – having had a good laugh, boogie and night. All with immense enthusiasm, fine humour and unquestionable musicianship. As cheesy as it might sound, I have to agree! I was at a gig last week in the Brewery Tap, Peterborough, a very popular and well established pub, Thai restaurant and micro brewery, if you’ve never been before then make sure you go because if you like a quiet pub there’s a spot in a corner for you (they have good beer) and if you like it louder then there’s loads of different DJ nights, soul music, bands, a Prince tribute night is coming soon and tomorrow they have The Peterborough Big Band. So back to the gig, It was a Thursday of a bank holiday weekend no less, so it was bound to not be a normal Thursday night! The crowd had had food, were drinking after work, any band would do well but the Cats brought a little something different tonight, they have many years of gigging experience behind them and they turned up, plugged in and rocked the place! The Cats filled the dance floor and by end of the night left everyone wanting more. All the band are brilliant musicians, you definitely wont see any backing tracks here, they seemed to enjoy the night as much as the crowd so if you want a good night out go find the Cats and bring your friends!" Based in Peterborough, England Lucy - Brewery Tap, Peterborough Photo of Radius 45 Radius 45 "Thank you Radius 45 for an absolutely superb performance for New Year's Eve. We've had nothing but praise from all of our customers. Everyone was up, dancing and singing along. We'll definitely be booking you guys for future events. Thanks again." Based in Peterborough, England Laura Donaldson - Onesto Group Photo of Flame Acoustic Duo Flame Acoustic Duo "We recently had the pleasure of enjoying a performance by Flame Acoustic Duo, and it truly elevated the entire evening. Their selection of songs was absolutely perfect — creating a warm, relaxing atmosphere that our diners thoroughly enjoyed. Ellie and Phil have such a natural chemistry on stage, and it shines through in every song they perform. The blend of Ellie’s beautiful, soulful voice with Phil’s smooth, expressive guitar playing is nothing short of stunning. We’ve already had so many compliments from guests, and we can’t wait to welcome them back!" Based in Kettering, England (23 miles from Peterborough) Tim Photo of StereoJack - Top Rated Party Band StereoJack - Top Rated Party Band "I can't quite put the set into words. It was a load of popular tracks from over the years and I was not fond of the originals. When they were sung by this band they were absolutely excellent. It was like a remixed album of classics and bangers of the ages. I'm not married but now want to propose to my partner just to get this band there. All 3 singers were 10/10 and the relaxed, friendly and approachable nature just made them even better. Musical geniuses a top band!" Based in Cambridge, England (30 miles from Peterborough) Charles - Ultra marathon Photo of Dabhands Dabhands "It was commented our harmonies were above average also that out Classic Rock Songs were a good selection." Based in Cambridge, England (30 miles from Peterborough) Luke -Entertainment Manager - Function /Club Photo of Under The Covers Under The Covers "Under the covers were recommended to me by a friend and after checking them out online I booked them. They didn’t disappoint! I loved them and they even stayed and played music until the end of the party!" Based in Cambridge, England (30 miles from Peterborough) Katherine B - Party

Frequently asked questions

The average price for 1990s era musicians & bands on Gig Heaven is currently £600, with prices ranging from £120 to £2,100+. Pricing typically depends on band size, performance length and whether the act includes a DJ set alongside live music. Most acts specialise in Britpop, dance, R&B and rock anthems from the decade, so listening to profile samples is a good way to compare what each performer offers.

The 1990s era musicians & bands cover the diverse genres of the 1990s including Britpop, grunge, R&B, dance, hip hop, indie and pop. Some bands focus on a particular 90s genre, while others offer a broad mix of the decade's biggest chart hits to appeal to a wide audience.

Common events for 1990s era musicians & bands include themed parties, weddings, corporate events, birthday celebrations and festival stages. The 1990s is often considered a golden era for popular music, and its songs remain widely recognised and loved across different age groups.

Most bookings for 1990s era musicians & bands cover two to three hours, divided into sets with breaks. The wide range of 1990s genres, from Britpop to dance anthems, means sets can be tailored to the audience and the mood of the event. It is worth discussing timing and set structure when making an enquiry.

Many 1990s era musicians & bands can extend their setlist to include songs from the late 1980s and early 2000s to keep the dance floor going. Some bands also cover current hits alongside their core 90s repertoire. To get the best results, discuss setlist preferences with the band when making an enquiry.

Most 1990s era musicians & bands are self-contained and provide their own PA system, instruments and amplification for standard event spaces. For larger venues or outdoor events, additional sound equipment may be required. It is a good idea to confirm technical and staging needs with the band before booking.
