A live caricaturist in Israel draws cartoon-style sketches of guests during cocktail hour or the reception, finishing each one in 3-5 minutes. Most artists work through 10-15 faces per hour for black-and-white sketches, slightly fewer for full colour or group drawings, which makes throughput planning straightforward for events of any size.
A small table, two armless chairs and around 5x8ft of space is enough for a single artist. They bring their own paper, pencils and easel, and can email digital files to guests after the event if you book a tablet-based caricaturist instead of a traditional one. For longer receptions or larger guest lists, booking two artists side by side keeps the queue moving and avoids the disappointment of guests missing out.
Rates for caricaturists in Israel range from $75 to $750 per hour, with most artists requiring a two- or three-hour minimum. The average booking price is $200. Faster artists, full-colour work, digital tablet sketches and personalised event branding sit at the higher end of the range, while shorter bookings or off-peak dates can land lower.
The average price for Caricaturists available in Israel is $200 (USD). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Yesterday I got fed both spiritually and materially at Soweto’s Just Badela eatery when I attended a heart-warming joint jazz presentation by Just Badela & ‘EXPRESSIONS by Siphiwe Mhlambi’ – the latter is an event series that capture the soul of jazz through Mhlambi’s evocative photography that blends rhythm and emotion into his every frame. I can right now without any whiff of doubt declare that the event lived up to its brand promise of delivering “an unforgettable afternoon with the legendary Herbie Tsoaeli, the master of double bass and a pioneer in South African jazz” to a full-house sit-down audience. (Indeed I) experience(d) the soul-stirring melodies and rich rhythms that have captured audiences around the world.” Nico Phooko was drawing inspiration from the music and the soul-caressing ambience by live painting a piece that will become a new addition to his “Notes & Strokes” series. The MC was Ngwako Malakalaka from Kofifi FM. We had the opportunity to witness Mhlambi autographing copies of our recently published book, “Rhythms in Black & White: A Virtual Journey Through the World of Jazz”, to happy revellers. Another illustrious author/publisher, Sam Mathe, manned a table selling his book too, “From Kippie to Kippies And Beyond”, on whose pages live our musicians. We do appreciate the platform that Just Badela provides to independent publishing and art ."

"Yesterday's gig at Just Badela in Orlando West, Soweto, was a truly memorable experience. We enjoyed a soul-soothing live performance by the legendary Herbie Tsoaeli and his exceptional all-star band, featuring Ayanda Sikade on drums, Yonela Mnana on piano, Sbusiso Mkhize on trumpet, and Muhammad Dawjee on saxophone. Their synergy created an atmosphere that resonated deeply with everyone present.
The event also highlighted Nico Phooko’s creative spirit. Inspired by the music and the warm ambiance, he crafted a beautiful live painting for his “Notes & Strokes” series. This gathering was more than just a concert; it was a shared experience many attendees will cherish for a long time.
I also want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all who came out and supported the event, particularly those who purchased a copy of my coffee table book, “RHYTHMS IN BLACK & WHITE - A VISUAL JOURNEY THROUGH THE WORLD OF JAZZ,” published by Brandhill Africa. Your presence made the evening truly special, and I sincerely appreciate each and every one of you.
A special thank you goes to visionary Dumile Badela from Just Badela for this incredible collaboration. 🤝"

"Caricatures by Kathy was a big hit at our sons first birthday party! She did all of our guests within an hour!! Talk about talent this was around 25 people. Loved the drawings and the sweet keepsake we now get to have.
One of the guests even texted me that they framed theirs when they got home. Highly recommend if you want a keepsake to remember your special event."
