Discover 314 classic rock bands available for hire in Grimsby, England, United Kingdom. Acts are rated 5 out of 5 across 470 reviews from real clients, with Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd tributes alongside broader rock cover groups working the 1960s through the 1990s. Prices start from £150, with an average of £750.
Most bands play two sets of 45 to 60 minutes and arrive with their own backline, PA and stage lighting. Raise song requests early, since learning a first dance or a particular album track takes rehearsal time, and check stage depth before booking a five-piece: a full drum kit, two guitar rigs and a keyboard need more room than a stripped-back trio.

Classic rock bands in Grimsby, England, United Kingdom cover the era from the 1960s through the 1990s, with repertoires built on acts like The Who, Deep Purple, Fleetwood Mac and Jimi Hendrix. The sound is fully amplified, so the room matters more than it does for an acoustic booking: a low ceiling or a strict noise limit changes what a band can deliver, and the better acts ask about both before they quote.
A four-piece of guitar, bass, drums and vocals is the usual format, with five- and six-piece line-ups adding keyboards or a second guitar for a fuller sound. Check the space before confirming: a full drum kit and two guitar rigs want roughly three metres (ten feet) of depth, and most bands need two or three standard power sockets near the stage rather than a single extension lead.
Most bands arrive two to three hours before the first song for load-in and soundcheck, which is worth building into the venue schedule if the room is in use beforehand. Two sets of 45 to 60 minutes is the standard booking, split by a break with recorded music. Where the venue has a curfew, work backwards from it when setting the start time instead of leaving the gap at the end of the night.
Rates in Grimsby run from £150 to £2,300+, with most bookings landing near £750. Band size is the largest single factor, followed by travel, set length and whether the act needs to bring extra sound or lighting for a larger room. Learning a specific song for a first dance or a surprise moment usually carries a small additional fee.
The average price for Classic Rock Bands available in Grimsby, England, United Kingdom is £750 (GBP). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Break Out - Classic & Modern Rock Band
"Thanks for a great evening of 70's 80's 90's & mr brightside, music which 95% of was my kinda stuff!
I was the long haired , white shirted dude having a dance on my mates 65th birthday do.
After a few pints , baby Guinness, shot of jd & a strange coulered spirit in a tiny bottle thoroughly enjoyed your stuff.
Not the loudest but a nice quality sound played with a great professionalism & made this 62 year old with a dodgy knee, dance like nobody was watching! Remembering the sounds of yester year when I was young! Ha ha
Hats off to you young guys keeping those sounds alive ...even the bassist who seems to have had a rough paper round when he was younger!
Highly recommend you lads!
Keep up the good work for us oldies to relive our youth!
Cheers!"
Venus & Mars
"The band set up all through the one system to keep the volume at a suitable level for a BBQ in my garden. The performance was outstanding and they were friendly, professional and most of all great fun. Definitely recommend them!"
Catch 22
"Just wanted to say a big thank you for playing at our wedding. You were brilliant, really gave our evening a great atmosphere and all my guests said what a great time they had and what a great band! Really made our wedding day special and some great memories to treasure.
Cant thank you or praise you highly enough. I have posted a message on your website recommending you.
Not only that but your communication and help before hand was great and much appreciated. I have absolutely no complaints. You were all so professional and friendly.
Many Many thanks
Marie and Jody Watson"
Biker Band
"The Kings’ regulars are probably the luckiest people in Lincolnshire, maybe even the East Midlands! Not only do they have fabulous hosts in Richard and Sharon, they also provide the best music free of charge every weekend and they don’t come much better than the Bikers Band wherever you may go.
Quiet and staid does not exist in their vocabulary, Mister-Pink is power funk, rock and blues at its very best covering the likes of Cream, Jimi Hendrix and The Rolling Stones but also mixing in their own songs in a seamless blend of quality entertainment. I asked Simon for his set list after the gig and do you know what the response was? “What set list? We just play what the audience like!” Believe me there are not many bands that can make such a confident statement.
How many encores did we have? I lost count, the holiday weekend busy bar wanted more so The Bikers Band duly provided. Of course we must not forget the superb bass playing of Jules and Balding Bloke was in his element sound engineering when the drummer let rip with a storming drum solo. I don’t know what they feed them on in Norfolk however it seems to be an excellent diet for drummers!
Now here’s a teaser for you…whilst we were clearing up afterwards I happened to mention that he’d forgotten to use his harmonica. That was it, straight to his kit and “Not Fade Away” commenced, The bassist struck up his acoustic guitar and the remaining customers and bar staff all immediately broke into song…Most likely we won’t see these guys again until next year, that’s going to be an awful long wait for many of us! ~ gig reviewer - Lincolnshire Press"
