Booking an event DJ in Altea, Valencia, Spain usually starts with a short brief: date, venue, guest numbers and the kind of night you want. Quotes tend to come back within a day or two, and most DJs will offer a call to run through the plan before you confirm. The strongest candidates ask as many questions as they answer, from timings to what the room is like.
Most setups need a table or booth space near a power supply and 60 to 90 minutes to load in and sound-check before guests arrive. Tell the DJ about stairs, long carry routes or upstairs function rooms when you enquire, since they move heavy speakers and stands. Some venues fit sound limiters that cut power when volume crosses a set threshold; a DJ who knows this in advance can configure their rig to stay under it. Outdoor receptions and marquee events need dry, covered ground and a reliable power source, so agree those details with the venue early.
A strong event DJ builds the night around your brief rather than a fixed routine. Share a shortlist of must-play tracks, anything to avoid, and the shape of the evening, from arrival music through dinner to the main dance set. Decide in advance whether guests can request songs on the night, and mention any themed or multilingual sets you need so the DJ can prepare the right library. Most are happy to source specific tracks ahead of the event if given notice.
Most DJs in Altea quote per event rather than per hour, with evening bookings running from €95 to €1,250+ and typical spends around €370. Hourly figures usually only appear for short add-on slots or extra time at the end of the night. When comparing quotes, check what is included: sound equipment, lighting, setup time and travel are normally built in, while uplighting, an extended set or a separate system for a second room adds to the fee. December dates and peak-season weekends are the first to go, so confirm your date as soon as the venue is settled.
The average price for Event DJs available in Altea, Valencia, Spain is €370 (EUR). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Ras Hafeez The Viking
"We honestly cannot recommend our DJ enough! We hired him for a private hen party at our villa and from the very first conversation, right through to the end of the night, he was absolutely fabulous.
We had a very specific vibe and atmosphere in mind for the hen party and he completely understood what we wanted. He took the time to listen to exactly what we were looking for, the type of music we loved, the atmosphere we wanted to create and the overall feel of the evening. He absolutely nailed it! The music was perfect and really helped make the whole night so enjoyable and memorable.
What stood out just as much as how talented he was, was what a genuinely lovely person he is. He was so calm, friendly, professional and just such a peaceful human to have around. Nothing was ever too much trouble and he made everything feel so easy and stress free, which is exactly what you want when you’re organising such a special occasion.
He was also brilliant at reading the room and knowing exactly what was needed throughout the afternoon/ night. He helped create such a fun atmosphere without ever taking over, and the music really brought everyone together and kept the energy going.
We had so many compliments from all the hen ladies about the music and the DJ, and everyone had such a fantastic time. It was honestly everything we hoped it would be and more.
Thank you so much for being part of such a special evening and for helping make our hen party one we will all remember for a very long time. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for a DJ for their event. Absolutely brilliant from start to finish! 🤍🥂🎶✨"

"Jordan & Janes — Ibiza, July 2026
Tom was absolutely amazing and one of the best vendors we booked for our wedding! He kept the party going all night and somehow managed to play hit after hit. There genuinely wasn’t a single song that nobody knew.
The dance floor was never empty for even a moment! He created such an incredible atmosphere and really helped make our night so special. We couldn’t recommend Tom enough."

"I was looking for a DJ for my godson's party in Barcelona. The problem was that I live in the Canary Islands, so I had to research the best options on social networks. Today, one day after the party, I can say that without a doubt, I found the right person. Punctuality, he managed to immediately capture the profile of the guests and made the party a real success. Thank you!!!! We now have a DJ in the family for future occasions."
