Solo guitar works at almost every point of an event, from ceremony music and drinks receptions through to relaxed evening sets. Before requesting quotes, it helps to decide where live music sits in your day: quiet background playing during food, a featured moment such as a first dance, or both. That decision shapes the set list, the equipment a performer brings and the price you are quoted.
A typical booking covers two 45-minute sets or three 40-minute sets with breaks in between, though most performers will adjust timings to fit around speeches, courses and other entertainment. For drinks receptions, many guitarists play longer, lighter sets at background volume; for evening slots, expect shorter and more energetic performances. Agree the running order in advance and decide who will cue the performer on the day, so timing changes reach them quickly.
Indoor setups are simple: a chair, a small clear area and a nearby socket cover most performances. Outdoor ceremonies and garden parties need more thought. Ask whether the performer can bring a battery amplifier or play fully acoustic where there is no power, check noise policies and finish times with your venue before booking an amplified evening set, and make sure there is somewhere dry and shaded for both the performer and the instrument.
Guitar players in Ribe mostly quote per set rather than per hour, starting from about kr850 for a single instrumental set, with typical bookings around kr2,650 and singer-guitarists bringing their own PA reaching kr7,500+. Longer performances, weekend and peak-season dates, and sets that include vocals all push quotes up. When comparing quotes, check what each includes: amplification, travel and time to learn requested songs are sometimes itemised separately. Booking ceremony and reception music with the same performer often costs less than hiring two separate acts.
The average price for Guitarists available in Ribe, South Denmark, Denmark is kr2,650 (DKK). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

"Exactly what we had requested and provided pleasant background music. Lovely Spanish acoustic music ."
Tom Jacks UNPLUGGED
"Tom was AMAZING!
Super professional and friendly, worked the crowd well and knew when to adapt the music to the atmosphere. We would really love to have Tom at our event again!"
Jahangir Khan
"We recently had a housewarming party for our new home in Loppersum, Netherlands. Jahangir made the evening even more wonderful with his music. Everyone had a great impression and even wanted to book him for further events themselves! We had a great time, thanks again! :)"
Valma
"Val was a big part in helping me surprise my girlfriend with a private performance, at which i proposed to her. This required a great deal of overseas correspondence to ensure everything went off without a hitch! Val arrived exactly on time and as we discussed. She played magnificently for us and was so instrumental (pun intended) in making the event as special as I had hoped and envisioned. Thanks Val for making our day and our trip so special!"
Adar Alfandari
"Adar played in my wedding ceremony, and I couldn't ask for a better job.
We asked a specific song for our ceremony, 'I wanna be yours' by Arctic Monkeys, and Adar made a special version of it and even produced a stunning backing audio to go with his live performance in our event. It was very special and artistic and we got so many compliments."
Anton Ripatti
"Dear Mr. Ripatti,
We are pleased to confirm our intention to engage you as a musician for performances at our Irish Pub Dubliner in Bayreuth in the future.
After your first audition with us, we were enthusiastic and find the musical performance very suitable for us as an Irish Pub, so we would very much like to include you as a new regular musician in the planning of our regular events in the coming years, depending on scheduling availability.
Best regards
