Wedding Ceremony Musicians in Setúbal
Woodwind Musicians in SetúbalSolo guitar works at almost every point of an event, from ceremony music and drinks receptions through to relaxed evening sets. Before requesting quotes, it helps to decide where live music sits in your day: quiet background playing during food, a featured moment such as a first dance, or both. That decision shapes the set list, the equipment a performer brings and the price you are quoted.
A typical booking covers two 45-minute sets or three 40-minute sets with breaks in between, though most performers will adjust timings to fit around speeches, courses and other entertainment. For drinks receptions, many guitarists play longer, lighter sets at background volume; for evening slots, expect shorter and more energetic performances. Agree the running order in advance and decide who will cue the performer on the day, so timing changes reach them quickly.
Indoor setups are simple: a chair, a small clear area and a nearby socket cover most performances. Outdoor ceremonies and garden parties need more thought. Ask whether the performer can bring a battery amplifier or play fully acoustic where there is no power, check noise policies and finish times with your venue before booking an amplified evening set, and make sure there is somewhere dry and shaded for both the performer and the instrument.
Guitar players in Setúbal mostly quote per set rather than per hour, starting from about €110 for a single instrumental set, with typical bookings around €350 and singer-guitarists bringing their own PA reaching €1,000+. Longer performances, weekend and peak-season dates, and sets that include vocals all push quotes up. When comparing quotes, check what each includes: amplification, travel and time to learn requested songs are sometimes itemised separately. Booking ceremony and reception music with the same performer often costs less than hiring two separate acts.
The average price for Guitarists available in Setúbal, Portugal is €350 (EUR). Above you will also find a budget price and high end price. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Kajó Soares-Saxophone /Portuguese Guitar
"Kajó was incredible, one of the highlights of the day for us and all our guests. It was the perfect addition to dinner and allow people to experience Portugese culture and also bring some energy to our evening. The saxaphone during cocktails was also the perfect background to the drinks. Kajó is so talented and also a lovely person, we definitely recommend him for any event!"
Paly
"Pali was absolutely incredible and truly elevated our wedding day. He arrived early, fully prepared and he worked effortlessly with the venue team to get set up smoothly. We gave him a very minimal brief, yet he completely understood the vibe we were after and nailed it. His music was the perfect backdrop for our beach wedding. It was relaxed, soulful, and effortlessly coastal. Every set he played created such a joyful, sun-soaked atmosphere that matched the setting perfectly. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the music was. On top of all that, he’s a lovely, polite, and professional guy. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you Paly for making our big day extra special! 11/10!"
André Guitar Ramos Solo Guitar
"André created the most beautiful atmosphere for our intimate wedding in the Algarve. His guitar playing was simply stunning—soft, romantic, and perfectly suited to the tone of our elopement. The music flowed effortlessly throughout our ceremony and dinner, providing a magical backdrop without ever overwhelming the moment.
What truly made the experience unforgettable was his willingness to go above and beyond—he even learned new boleros at our request and accompanied me while I sang to my groom. It was such a heartfelt and deeply personal moment, and André made it absolutely perfect. It felt truly magical.
We couldn’t have asked for a more talented, thoughtful, and professional musician. He elevated every part of our day, and we would recommend him without hesitation! Muito Obrigada"
Pinto Classical Guitar
"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely amazing guitarist!
David was incredible from start to finish. All the timings were perfect, and he absolutely nailed every song — even the ones that were a bit out there for classical guitar. He sounded amazing throughout the ceremony and drinks, and really added something special to the day.
He arrived on time, checked in briefly about where he needed to be and when, and that was all he needed — a true professional and very talented musician. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough!"
G Clef - Harmony between strings
"G Clef was an amazing Duo. They were great to work with. I am in Canada and met with them online to discuss my vision of the proposal, which would take place in Portugal. I sent them the 3 songs I wanted them to sing during the proposal. 2 of the songs they did not know, but they spent the time to learn them. As they were learning the new songs, they even created a demo of the 3 songs I requested so I could hear how they sounded. I was impressed. The proposal took place in a cave that is only accessible by boat from Armacao de Pera. The duo had to meet the boat crew ahead of time and get dropped off in the cave, which gave them time to set up. They brought a battery-powered amplifier for the guitar and vocals. Everything worked out perfectly. This group was great to work with and sounded excellent; they even performed an additional song of their choice, which was a perfect fit for the moment. I would highly recommend them for any event you have planned."
Ricardo Martins Guitarra Portuguesa/Fado
"Ricardo and his colleague were top notch! The music was beautiful and both musicians not only shared their extraordinary talent, but also answers our questions about the Portuguese guitar. Very professional and highly recommended!"
