Guitar players mostly quote per set rather than per hour, with rates in Peak District starting from about £100 for a single instrumental set, typical bookings around £250 and singer-guitarists bringing their own PA reaching £850+. Longer performances, weekend and peak-season dates, and sets that include vocals all push quotes up. When comparing quotes, check what each includes: amplification, travel and time to learn requested songs are sometimes itemised separately. Booking ceremony and reception music with the same performer often costs less than hiring two separate acts. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Tim Pavitt
"Tim Pavitt is a perfect choice for any venue or event. He is a musician of wide range and repertoire. He has a gorgeous voice as well as being a virtuoso guitarist. I have invited him to several events of my own, and been to many occasions where he has played. The audiences love his sound and style, whether blues, folk or country, or anything he likes from musicals and other genres. He is an unassuming, amusing presence on stage so he can be a gentle background or solo concert performer in his own right. He fits the bill as needed. A great and very likeable talent!"
Roger Gamon Guitarist - classical/jazz/pop
