Jazz singers in Portugal perform at weddings, corporate functions, milestone birthdays and cocktail receptions. Most cover everything from rat pack standards and Great American Songbook classics to modern jazz-pop crossovers, adjusting their setlist to match each part of the event.
For smaller gatherings, a solo singer with backing tracks or a vocalist-pianist duo keeps the sound warm without overwhelming dinner conversation. Larger receptions and dance floors suit a singer fronting a live trio or quartet. Most performers carry their own PA and can advise on setup for your venue. Lock in song requests early, as experienced vocalists are usually happy to learn a first dance or ceremony song with six to eight weeks' notice.
Rates for jazz singers in Portugal typically range from about €130 for a solo vocalist up to €1,200+ for a singer with a full live band, with the average booking around €440. Pricing reflects set length, the number of musicians, travel, and whether full sound equipment is included. Midweek dates and off-peak months usually offer better availability and rates.
The average price is €440 (EUR), with most priced from €130 to €1,200+. Contact the supplier you like for an accurate quote.

Mai Rojo.
"We hired Mai Rojo for our wedding and it was the best decision. We were looking for music for an elegant cocktail, well performed and with songs that would liven up a wedding cocktail in a very elegant way. To say they achieved it and exceeded our expectations. The voice and the sublime guitar. They are also very polite and correct people.
I would not hesitate to hire them again for an event.
Thank you both for how well you did it and for making our wedding an even more special day."
Felipe Fontenelle
"The performance of Felipe during the cocktail was awesome, we really appreciate this lovely moment with your music. Many guests really appreciate the spirit and the emotion.
Thanks again for this amazing moment."
Mistura Fina
"We have worked with Mistura Fina for several years at Herdade da Malhadinha Nova, where they regularly perform in our spaces. Throughout this time, they have demonstrated a high level of professionalism, great flexibility, and a remarkable ability to create the right atmosphere for every occasion.
The quality of their music and their punctuality are consistently outstanding, making them a trusted partner for our events and hospitality experiences.
It is always a pleasure to have their collaboration, and we highly recommend their services to anyone looking for excellence, dedication, and a professional approach."
Cerys Fernandes
"Cerys was absolutely fantastic at my Mum's party last night. She sang beautifully and her song choices really got everyone singing and dancing along. Lots of our guests commented on how good she was and really enjoyed her set. Cerys was very accomodating with requests, professional and prompt with her set up - worth every penny! We all wish her lots of luck for the future. A very talented, lovely lady. Thank you Xx"
Marlene Johnson Trio
"This is to certify that the Marlene Johnson Duo was performing at the Starboard in the Taj Mahal hotel, Mumbai for a period of three months.
During their tenure here we found the band to be of exceptional quality and class. Not only did they entertain the guests but they have also contributed a lot to the overall business and the impression of the place. They were the most aptly suited band that I worked with yet at the bar
Their music, entertaining skill and ability to sing in a varied number of languages was a quality that will never be forgotten. I wish Flavio and Marlene all the best in their future endeavors."
Pugsley Buzzard
"Who ever says 'they don't write 'em like they used to' should take a listen to Pugsley Buzzard's latest album Wooden Kimono. Buzzard is a bewitching songwriter and storyteller often combining groove laden or playful tunes with dark lyrics. Showing off his renowned blues - jazz piano style and infectious raspy vocals, Pugsley is complemented on this album by a top band of horns and down and dirty guitar, that makes for hot listening. ".
