Rates for saxophonists in Tralee run from €160 to €1,100+, with typical bookings around €420. Check what the figure covers before comparing quotes: PA and setup are usually included, travel may or may not be, and an overtime rate for running past the agreed finish is worth agreeing in writing rather than on the night. Most acts take a deposit to hold the date, with the balance due close to the event, and short notice tends to cost more rather than less, since a free Saturday in peak season is a date someone else has already turned down. Maria Hymas
"Maria Hymas is simply fantastic!! Amazing from start to finish. She serenade the crowd, everyone absolutely loved her as did we. Maria made the whole gig very personal yet professional. Cannot wait to see her again for a performance and will certainly rebook should we have the opportunity. Vicki & Ash"
Indigo Mood
"Indigo Moon were great. Super range of songs and lovely saxophone playing. I would highly recommend."
Saxophone and piano duo
"We had the saxophone and piano duo playing for both our ceremony and drinks reception, and they were honestly one of our favourite parts of the day.
The music during the ceremony was absolutely beautiful and made everything feel so special without being over the top. Then for the drinks reception they completely changed the atmosphere — relaxed, fun and just perfect while everyone was chatting and having a drink.
So many of our guests mentioned how much they loved the music, which says it all really! They were also so easy to deal with in the lead-up to the wedding and everything on the day felt completely seamless.
We’re so glad we booked them and would 100% recommend them to anyone getting married in Ireland.

Sax des Soul
"Colm was great, played some lovely tunes, we wanted him to move from front to back garden where the crowds were and nothing was a problem. Played an hour extra too. Very happy."
Dmitry Funky Sax
"We had Dmitry play the saxophone at a friends’ hen party and he was absolutely brilliant. Such a lovely person to deal with from start to finish, and he really got the party going. Everyone was up dancing and the atmosphere was amazing. He was great craic, so talented, and knew exactly how to read the room! We had so many compliments from our guests afterwards."
KokoSax
"Booking Koko was very easy and fast, an amazing sax player and made us feel amazing ."
