String Quartets for Hire in Sussex

Hiring string quartets is one of the most popular choices for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, corporate events, gala dinners and formal occasions. The rich, elegant sound of a string quartet adds refinement and emotional depth to key moments.

Many string quartets offer arrangements of popular songs, film soundtracks, chart hits and well-known melodies alongside classical repertoire. This allows the music to appeal to a wider audience while maintaining the sophisticated sound of live strings. It is advisable to check each quartet's profile for their full repertoire.

Most string quartets need an area of approximately 3 by 3 metres for four seated musicians. They do not need a stage and can perform at floor level. For the best experience, confirm space and access requirements with the quartet, particularly for venues with stairs or limited access.
