Electric Violinists for Hire in Annecy

Hire Electric Violinists in Annecy, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France

Booking an electric violinist in Annecy, Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, France is one of the simpler live music arrangements to plan. Most acts travel self-contained, carrying their instrument, backing tracks and a PA sized for the room, which makes them as practical for a small drinks reception as for a full evening party. Almost all will tailor the set list to the occasion, from background dinner music through to a packed dance floor.

Sound, Space and Setup

An electric violin stays silent until it is plugged in, so volume sits entirely under the player's control. That makes these acts a safe booking for venues with sound limiters or strict noise rules, where a full live band would struggle. A solo performer needs only a couple of square metres of floor space, a standard power socket and around 30 to 45 minutes to set up and soundcheck. For outdoor ceremonies or open-air receptions, confirm access to power and covered shelter in advance.

Planning the Performance

Wireless setups are worth asking about early: they free the performer to move through the room during drinks or dinner, then switch to a staged set for the evening. Custom arrangements, such as a first dance or a walk-in track for an awards night, should be agreed at booking, since new material takes time to prepare. If you want an LED light show, check the room can be dimmed; the visuals lose their impact under bright lighting.

What Electric Violinists Charge

An electric violin act in Annecy typically costs between €150 and €1,050+, with most quotes landing around €410. When comparing quotes, check what each includes: PA and lighting, arrival and setup time, and any extras such as a ceremony set or a late finish. Acts price a full wedding day covering ceremony, drinks and evening party differently from a single evening set, so describe the whole event when you enquire.
