Best place to load in to the venue, and also any height restrictions on the stage as we use tower line arrays which are 7 feet tall.

We have a professional level PA system consisting of 2 line array speaker systems and a high end digital mixing desk. We also have simple but very effective lighting.

We can provide music between and after sets, and have all cables needed to connect android or apple products to our system, should a client want to use their own play list.

I have a pet hate... seeing a great band with awesome skills being let down by poor equipment, sound mixing and the like.
We have invested thousands of pounds in our pa system, to make sure the audience has the best experience possible. We use 2x LDSystems Maui28 line arrays, which give us great clarity and a lovely full sound. We do not have to push the speakers hard to get a decent volume, so we do not suffer from distortion and other unwanted distractions! Our desk is an Allen & Heath CQ18T which gives us unrivalled control over sound and effects.
We use Hughes & Kettner guitar amps and Stranberg guitars, Sakae drums and Shure mics .
Finally, we can control the mixer remotely so we know the front of house sound is spot on by mixing from the audience!

As far as best gig we've done two festivals spring to mind. Teddy Rocks festival 2024 which was a break through for us, and Poole Harbour festival this year. We've had a lot of new people come to our gigs since our Poole Harbour festival show, so it open what we do to a whole new audience.

Rather than type of event, we would say any event where the audience is reactive and up for having fun. Some of the less party-like events on paper have turned into real fun events. We give a lot of energy, and when the audience reciprocates good things happen.

The band has been together for 10 years now. Before that lead guitarist Frank played in some well known local groups having started Phoenix in 2004. Having done over 140 gigs a year until Covid the band have pretty much seen and done most of it, if not quite all of it!

Nathan (drums): Mick Johnson for his musicality, Dave Elitch for his effortless movement around the kit , and finally Jay Kalo for the joy he brings when playing.
Frank (guitar): Mark Knopfler for effortless musicality, Gary Moore for his fire and passion, and Dave Gilmour for his tone and expression.

We can set up pretty quickly, for example festival changeovers have been achieved in 15 minutes or so! However, we prefer a more relaxed experience so generally arrive 90 minutes before downbeat. we like to do a 2x60 min performance, as it gets tricky for us to drop tunes! We are flexible though and are happy to accommodate other set times to fit. We are very professional but at the same time easy to work with.

More than happy to perform outside. We do need shade, power and a flat surface to set up on, along with a decent contingency plan if the weather doesn't play ball!

We are happy to look at new material for a private function. This would be factored into costs, for example, if we need extra rehearsals to learn the songs. We use backing tracks that we generally make ourselves. Getting these recording does incur expense too. It also means that requests 'on the night' could be difficult if we do not have a track pre-prepared!

The most common question we get asked after a gig is: 'What are you doing playing here?... why aren't you playing massive venues?'. People are literally blown away by the sound and skills of the band.
We are also complemented on our song choices, as we do not do the 'same old' material most bands cover.
