A performance area of about 2 x 2 meters for the duo and one standard power socket close to it. Easy loading access to the stage area helps.
The venue address with directions to the loading entrance, the time we can start setting up, and any sound limit or noise restriction at the venue.
Yes. We bring our own PA system, sized for audiences of up to about 50 guests. We do not bring a lighting rig.
A wedding where we hurried to play for the family because a relative was very ill. We moved quickly so that they could hear the music together. It was a beautiful and deeply emotional event, and we felt lucky to be part of it.
We have played together as a guitar and sax duo for ten years. That time shows in how we listen to each other and in how easily we turn a familiar pop or rock song into a jazz arrangement.
Stan Getz and Wes Montgomery. Getz taught us how a saxophone can sing a melody softly, and Montgomery how a guitar can sound warm and full. That relaxed, melodic approach is what we bring to pop and rock songs.
We arrive one hour before the performance to set up. We can play in blocks or straight through, whichever suits the flow of your event.
We can learn specific songs on request. We ask to receive the request about a month before the event, and we confirm whether we can prepare it well in that time.
