Ana Souls was born in Lisbon, Portugal, lived in Amsterdam Netherlands and moved back to Portugal again in 2021. She started to study piano when she was 4 years old. Years later, started to play classical guitar, bass and drums. Her passion for music leads her to a “Tuna”, a University band in which she played the mandolin, Portuguese guitar and double bass. Naturally, she started to write her own songs, where jazz had a special influence. Now, her background in jazz, pop, rock and funk shows her soul in a single way. She performs with her band, or, as she calls them, her “musical family”. Besides performing, she studied Musical Science and Music Production and Film Scoring (Hans Zimmer). Production, Composition and Arrangement are her favourite aspects.
