In addition to my experience in musical theater, I've had the wonderful opportunity to sing for the late writer Maya Angelou and the late writer Barbara Raskin, who both encouraged me to continue singing in spite of all. Gigging began as a result of late gospel singer, Richard Broadnax requesting me to join his gospel ensemble.
