I provide quality sound equipment, FOH and monitor mixing for small to medium scale events , parties and conferences. I have 20 years experience of mixing and grew up around music. I have a passion for making artists and bands sound as good as the possibly can.
= areas covered (up to 100 miles)
= free travel (up to 50 miles)
1 will need at least 2X 15 amp 120volt circuits and ample space for staging . I will also need parking for one SUVand 6x12 Trailer.
I will need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, I am completely self contained. I bring my own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
No, I mix mainly with a I-pad so no need to take up space with a sound booth/ tent.
I do some. I don’t like the way they sound for front of house in a large setting. I use them in small shows where mainly vocals and acoustic instruments need to be mic’ed and floor monitors on stage. I run passive wood enclosures for FOH mains and subs off of good clean Crown power.
I worked doing audio for three years at my children’s high football stadium and hosted a few musicians there for fundraisers.
I love doing all sorts of events but festivals and private parties are my favorite.
My journey started when I was about 12 my Dad has always played music in a small country band and I wound go help setup the sound equipment and stage when they were not playing bars. That turned into me mixing front of house as a teenager doing numerous shows with his band. My brother had a band and they played a few parties with other bands and I wound go do sound for those events. I even hosted Karaoke parties before my wife and I had children. Now that they are older I can put time into my passion. Hoping to grow this adventure into a full time career.
I listen to all types of music. I didn’t get blessed with the patience to play instruments but I have a keen ear when it comes to making music sound like it should .
My mixing style is similar to Dave Natale he was the sound engineer for U2 and The Rolling Stones.
Normally 2 hours before start of show for most small setups and 2 hours after. Friday through Sunday unless I have plenty of notice.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area. I bring pop up tents for my gear.
Clients have the say for break music if needed I’ll play requests while the band is on breaks
I have received numerous comments on how good it sounds. Usually sound guys don’t get notices until they don’t do something.lol . I don’t normally mix for my dad’s band anymore but I recently was invited due to the regular guy being on vacation. ( they played a line dance place once a month with the same crowd ) I was told by the venue management that it was the best it sound in a long time.
