“Bossa Amiga” are Sara Sousa, on vocals, and Olavo Barros, on guitar - a duo from Porto, who play Jazz, Blues and Bossa Nova songs, to create a happy, engaging and soaring sound.
Their repertoire includes: Fly me to the Moon, My Favorite Things, Fever, Chega de Saudade, Samba de Verão, The Man I Love, My Funny Valentine, Valerie, Garota de Ipanema, and many other well-known and timeless songs.
Since 2017, they have performed at various events and live music spaces (weddings, openings, parties, business events, etc.), to share music and good cheer wherever they go.

We require a minimum performance space of 3m x 2m. We need access to nearby electrical outlets to connect our amplification equipment. For outdoor performances, we require shade, such as a sun umbrella or similar coverage.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we provide amplification equipment suitable for small to medium-sized venues.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event, but we usually limit this to 3 songs. The client is welcome to choose a setlist from our repertoire or let us select the music for them. We require that the 3 requested songs be communicated at least 3 months in advance.
