We require a clean and stable performance area of approximately 3m x 2m (or larger depending on ensemble size).
Access to at least two standard power outlets near the stage area is necessary.
If the venue provides PA, we require a basic sound system suitable for live music (two speakers and small mixer minimum).
Safe and easy access for load-in and load-out is appreciated.

We need clear load-in instructions, parking information, and contact details of the on-site technician (if applicable).
Please inform us in advance if there is a sound limiter or specific volume restrictions.
It is also helpful to know the room capacity, whether the event is seated or standing, and the planned schedule for soundcheck and performance.

Yes. We can provide our own compact PA system for small to medium-sized events if needed. We do not provide full lighting production, but simple stage lighting is sufficient for our performance.

Yes. We are happy to provide background music from Spotify before, between, and after our sets to maintain the atmosphere of the event.

One of the most memorable gigs we’ve done was performing in the historic gardens of Paleis Soestdijk near Amsterdam, in the Netherlands. It’s a beautiful former royal palace with over 350 years of history and lush surroundings that made the evening feel truly special and unforgettable. The audience was receptive and the atmosphere elegant and warm — a perfect match for our Brazilian music style.

We particularly love performing at cultural, private, and celebration events — especially weddings, receptions, and festivals. Events where people are open to listening, where the music enhances the atmosphere, and where guests of all ages can enjoy rhythms from Samba-Jazz to Bossa Nova are always our favourite.

Brasounds is a Barcelona-based musical collective dedicated to sharing high-quality Brazilian music with the world. We work with ensembles ranging from duos up to septets, offering styles from Samba-Jazz and Bossa Nova to Choro and MPB for events and private functions.

We started performing in local venues, cultural spaces, and private events in Barcelona and across Europe, building our reputation through passion for Brazilian rhythms, professional presentation, and a warm connection with audiences. Over time we’ve played at weddings, corporate events, festivals, and special cultural gatherings, creating versatile and engaging musical experiences.

Our music is deeply influenced by the Brazilian masters of Bossa Nova and MPB — including artists like João Gilberto, Tom Jobim, and Vinicius de Moraes — whose melodic sophistication and rhythmic elegance have shaped our sound. As individuals and as a collective we also draw inspiration from legends such as Baden Powell, João Donato, and Djavan.

Choosing a single greatest song of all time is impossible for us, but compositions like “Chega de Saudade” and “Insensatez” stand out as timeless pieces that continue to inspire musicians everywhere.

We usually arrive approximately 2 hours before the performance to set up and run a soundcheck.
Our standard format is 2 x 45-minute sets, but we are flexible and happy to adapt the duration and structure depending on the event schedule and atmosphere.

Yes, we’re happy to perform outdoors. We simply require a flat and stable surface, protection from direct sun or rain (shade or cover), and access to a nearby power supply. Clear load-in access is also appreciated.

Clients are very welcome to be involved in shaping the repertoire. They can choose from our existing set list, request specific songs in advance (within reason), or let us curate the music to suit the atmosphere of the event. We’re happy to adapt the mood — from relaxed background Bossa Nova to more rhythmic Samba or Brazilian dance styles. We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to a few songs.
