Well I have done national tours and cruise ships. They were amazing and fun. Worked with amazing people. I played to full house on Broadway in a touring musical theater production. That was awesome.

I also keep the music playing but I do not get carried away being a mix master with scratching, FX sounds, and other house DJ tricks. I play your favorite songs and blend into the next track seamlessly.

For private parties as DJ/MC I get there about 1 hour before. It does not take me long to set up. For weddings about 90 minutes before. 3+ hour event is typical. Very minimal breaks and keep music playing, no dead time.

If I am working with a band 2 hours to do proper sound check. 3+ hour event, about 50 minutes on and 10 off which can vary based on the event. DJ music in between, no dead time. Under 2 hours no breaks except restroom is necessary.

Yes but prefer some sort of cover for 2 hours or more. My equipment can over heat in extreme sunlight.

As a DJ, yes. We will talk genres and styles and we will adhere to what is agreed upon. Sometimes they send me a playlist but it is not necessary.
As a singer I have a large repertoire. I will learn 1 new song, 1st dance example, at no charge. If they want several new songs there will be a fee.
