The surprise element was perfect, and our guests were delighted to see you arrive and watch you play - it all added to the atmosphere! It is so moving to listen to the bagpipes, so to be in the presence of Cameron playing live at our event was a real privilege.

Thank you very much for your piping at the funeral of my son yesterday. You were excellent and thank you for wearing the full military No. 1 uniform with feather bonnet. You did a wonderful job and it made the funeral. I’m sorry I didn’t really get the chance to have a chat with you but I wanted to say a big thanks. Thank you Cameron.

My husband would be so proud that we laid him to rest this way. Cameron, just a quick message to thank you for playing at Louise’s wedding. When I spoke about you during my speech you were received with rapturous applause and afterwards the grooms uncle who is based in Nova Scotia was very enthusiastic about his conversation with you later.
As you said to me on the day, the venue was magnificent and I hope that the staff showed you a level of hospitality that was acceptable. Many thanks and hopefully we may be able to involved at some other function in the future.

Cameron, thank you very much for playing at my father’s funeral yesterday. Your music set the tone as one of solemnity and celebration in a way that was much more than I imagined beforehand. Many people commented to me afterwards that they thought it a fitting and memorable tribute and much in keeping with his love of the Highlands.
