I am a Flamenco singer, from Sevilla (Spain) and currently living in Italy, often traveling for performances. Appearing on stage for over twenty years, in Spain and abroad.
I regularly perform recitals of cante flamenco, with guitar accompaniment and sometimes hands clapping ("compás") or drums; other times, I collaborate to the realization of various shows with several dance companies and productions.
I have received awards in Flamenco singing competitions held in various localities in Andalusia, such as:
- Winner of Second Prize in the Cantes Libres in Linares (Jaén, Spain) at the National Competition Tarantas de Linares, 2001, and finalist in the same competition in the specialty of Tarantas de Linares.
- Finalist in the prestigious prize with distinction at Concurso de Cante Jondo Antonio Mairena de Mairena del Alcor Mairena (Seville, Spain) held in the specialty of Cantes de Compás, interpreting Bulerías and Alegrías, 1999.
- Mention award in the contest Cante por Alegrías de Cadiz (Cadiz, Spain, 1999), interpreting Alegrías and Malagueñas.
My natural curiosity leads me to experiment with other types of music, adapting my voice in several musical contexts, among which worth mentioning my participation in the CD "Paolo Conte Live Arena di Verona" and also fusion with several Austrian groups (Comin'&Goin, Las Hermanas) and with Indian music and dance Kathak.
