Technical Info

What are your basic technical requirements?

require a stable power source close to the performance area and enough space to set up my keyboard and stand (approximately 2m x 2m). If the venue has a PA system, I can connect directly to it, otherwise I can bring my own small setup if arranged in advance.

What information do you require about a venue?

I need to know the performance location inside the venue, any access instructions for loading in equipment, and whether the venue has a sound system available. It also helps to know if there are restrictions such as sound limiters, noise curfews, or limited power outlets.

Do you provide sound and lighting equipment?

Yes, I can only provide my own keyboard

Can you provide a Spotify/DJ service before and between your sets?

No

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

One of my best gigs was performing at a major church event with a full live band. The energy, the crowd response and the atmosphere made it unforgettable. I’ve also played at several live music venues where the sound and setup allowed me to really express myself on the keys.

What's your favourite type of event?

I enjoy all types of events, but my favourites are live music shows, church services and intimate performances where I can create emotion through the keys. I also love studio sessions, where creativity and collaboration come to life.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

I started playing keyboards at a young age in church, which helped me develop strong musical sensitivity, timing and improvisation skills. From there, I began performing at events, working with bands, and recording in studio sessions. Over the years I’ve played at different venues, churches and private events, building both versatility and experience across gospel, jazz, house and contemporary styles.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

I’m influenced by a mix of gospel, jazz and soulful keyboard players — artists like Cory Henry, Oscar Peterson, Jonathan Butler and many local musicians who inspire me every day. My favourite artists blend emotion with technical skill, and I enjoy music that connects deeply with people. For me, the greatest songs are the ones that move people — whether it’s a powerful gospel piece or a timeless jazz classic.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I usually arrive 45–60 minutes before the performance to set up my keyboard, sound, and do a quick soundcheck. My standard performance times are flexible — I can play 1 hour, 2 x 45-minute sets, or tailor the length to suit the event. Longer performances can also be arranged with breaks in between.

Are you happy to perform outside?

Yes, I’m happy to perform outdoors as long as there is shade or cover to protect the keyboard from sun or rain, a flat surface, and access to a nearby power source. I can also bring a small sound setup if required.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

Clients are welcome to request specific songs or styles, and I can include them in the performance. I have a flexible repertoire across gospel, jazz, house, R&B and contemporary music, and I’m happy to tailor the setlist for the event. I can also learn a few special requests in advance.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Clients often describe my performances as soulful, smooth, and expressive, with a strong musical feel. They appreciate my professionalism, versatility and the atmosphere I create—whether it’s uplifting gospel, chill jazz, or lively contemporary music.

How do I book you for an event?

Booking is simple! Just send me a message with your event details, and I’ll confirm availability and pricing quickly.
