About / Biography

Chris Lozano: Marine Veteran and Country Rock Frontman

Chris Lozano is a dynamic musician, singer-songwriter, and the charismatic frontman of his own project. His music powerfully fuses soulful Country tones with the energetic grit of Country, Outlaw Country, Rock and Southern Rock.

Born and raised in Colorado, Lozano dedicated 15 honorable years to the Marine Corps as an Infantryman. This background infuses his performances with a distinctive depth and powerful resolve.

🎶 Music and Production Highlights

Lozano has quickly established himself as a premier Southern California Country act, celebrated for his highly energetic shows and engaging performances. He possesses a remarkable vocal range, allowing him to masterfully cover everything from the high notes of Keith Urban to the deep tones of Trace Adkins.

He has taken his original music to the highest level, recording at the Historic RCA Studio A in Nashville with 4x Grammy-nominated producer Eddie Gore. This collaboration marks a significant milestone, and Lozano has been invited back to the studio to finish his album.

His original compositions include the impactful songs "Boots on Sacred Ground," "Freedom Leads the Way," and "Queen of My Wild Heart," which showcase his blend of tear-jerking ballads and high-energy rock rhythms.

Lozano's music has been embraced by industry professionals and his band has shared stages with musicians who have toured with major acts like Toby Keith, Carrie Underwood, Guns N' Roses, Dolly Parton, Brooks & Dunn, Craig Campbell, Chris Cagle and Rascall Flatts to name a few.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

We performed at a venue in Ohio, Rockin' on the River, for over 7500 people and have sold out casino shows, local shows and have opened for major artist like Shenandoah, Clay Walker, Colt Ford, and Toby Keith to name a few.

What's your favourite type of event?

Outdoor festivals and concerts

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

Chris Lozano here! My 20+ years as a professional musician, with extensive national/international touring demanding sound focus, timing, and endurance. Background: Full-time member of original touring acts (albums/logistics) and hired gun/session work (rapid catalog mastery). Technical mastery spans complex polyrhythms to dynamic subtlety. I guarantee a powerful, consistent, technically demanding performance nightly. How did I start gigging? Initial gigs were in garage bands. Shift to pro touring was strategic: Built local reputation via reliability. Moved to a music hub to network with touring pros; first big break was an audition for a label-signed band. The real change was adopting a professional mindset: being a dependable bandmate, mastering technical needs (rider/stage plot), and delivering a polished show consistently.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, Eric Clapton, George strait and many others. My favorite artist is Garth Brooks because he is so energetic and puts on a show

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 3 x 45 minutes or 1 x 90-minute set. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter but we’ve found that these set times suit us and our audiences best.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers would describe us as a high energy group that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing
