Director Quentin Tarantino has often shaped the atmosphere of his films through the music he has incorporated into them. An entire scene is sometimes supported by a song and becomes an essential part of the action. "Call Me Winston" is a concert show in homage to Quentin Tarantino for his use of music in his films.
Call Me Winston is a live concert celebrating the iconic soundtracks and musical universe of Quentin Tarantino's films.
Unique in Europe for both its concept and the breadth of its repertoire, the eleven-piece band brings together outstanding musicians and vocalists in a spectacular live show featuring the songs that have shaped the acclaimed filmmaker's cinematic world. Since its creation, Call Me Winston has established itself as a leading act in this unique repertoire, performing more than forty concerts across France and Monaco.
The orchestra is also the creator and producer of "Pouce la Vie", an annual charity concert supporting the Flavien Foundation. Held in Monaco, the event has become one of the Principality's major charity concerts, welcoming renowned guest artists including Louis Chédid, Greg Zlap, Alex Jaffray, Jean-Félix Lalanne, François-Xavier Demaison, Anne Sila and its long-standing patron, Yvan Cassar. During Pouce la Vie #8, Call Me Winston had the honour of accompanying Anne Sila and Yvan Cassar throughout the entire performance.
Selected every year for the Soirées Estivales festival presented by the Alpes-Maritimes Department, Call Me Winston has also performed at prestigious events including "Cannes Fiction", celebrating the 30th anniversary of Pulp Fiction's Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, the inaugural season of Monaco's New Moods, performances at the legendary Salle des Étoiles at Sporting Monte-Carlo, and the Nice Tribute Festival 2025.
In 2026, the orchestra reached another milestone by performing at two of France's most prestigious cinema venues: Kinepolis Lomme, the country's largest movie theatre complex, and Le Grand Rex in Paris, where the band opened the exceptional screening of Kill Bill – The Whole Bloody Affair. These landmark performances further confirmed the growing recognition of this original musical production.
On stage, Call Me Winston faithfully recreates the rich musical landscape that defines Quentin Tarantino's films. From Dick Dale's surf guitar and Chuck Berry's rock'n'roll to the soul and funk grooves of Kool & the Gang, the disco energy of Santa Esmeralda, the legendary K-Billy Super Sounds of the Seventies selections and the timeless classics of the blaxploitation era, every song is performed with authenticity, power and passion.
More than a tribute concert, Call Me Winston offers a fully immersive journey into Quentin Tarantino's musical universe.
