For 4 people, we need a stage area of at least 4 meters by 5 meters. The stage area can be expanded depending on the package. We can adapt to the type of event. We need 2 to 4 16-amp power outlets and 3 parking spaces.
We need to know any directions that will help us find the venue and find the right place to load in our equipment. We’d also need to be informed if there’s a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, depending of type of events, we’re completely self contained. We bring our own PA system to all of our gigs as well as a simple lighting rig.
Yes, we’re happy to play music from Spotify before, after and between our sets. We’re happy to choose the music ourselves or let the client choose the music.
Over the past 15 years, the group has performed across a wide range of venues and events, both in France and internationally. Highlights include a private concert on a Croatian island, appearances at Groupama Stadium in Lyon, the Zénith venues in Clermont-Ferrand and Nancy, as well as performances in Copenhagen.
They have also been regularly featured in prestigious settings, including luxury hotels in Gstaad, Montreux, and Lausanne, alongside numerous public concerts for local authorities.
In addition, the group travels extensively for private and corporate events, as well as weddings, performing in cities such as Brest, Marseille, Paris, Nantes, Tours, and beyond.
We have a slight preference for large events with a lot of people but we like the variety of event types, so we enjoy playing in many circumstances.
Founded 15 years ago, the group has gradually evolved into a collective with flexible line-ups, able to adapt seamlessly to all types of events and settings.
Despite this versatility, COFFEE TONE remains a close-knit ensemble, far removed from the workings of an agency. It is, above all, a true artistic family, united by years of collaboration and a deep on-stage chemistry, even as the line-ups shift from one event to another.
The repertoire and artistic direction are the result of years of dedicated work and continuous evolution, regularly enriched through focused creative residencies.
Our initial influences are groove, soul, pop, and funk music, stemming from African American music, hence the nod to "Coffee."
So Michael Jackson, Prince, Earth, Wind & Fire, Kool & the Gang, Aretha Franklin, and Bill Withers were some of our essential influences.
But over time, our shows have evolved considerably and are now more oriented towards international variety. Pop has taken center stage, and we've balanced the different eras by adding modern tracks.
As a result, artists like Bruno Mars, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Adele, Sam Smith, and Coldplay, to name just a few, have become more prominent in our repertoire.
And we adapt each year to current trends; electro, dance, and Afrobeat music are added to our performances.
Depending on logistical constraints, we usually arrive two to three hours before the show to set up. Our sets typically consist of two 45-minute sets or two 60-minute sets. We can play a little longer or a little shorter, but we've found that these lengths work best for our audience and ourselves.
We love playing outdoors, but depending on the weather, we require shade or shelter. A flat, level surface is necessary, as well as an electrical outlet near the playing area.
We can learn a specific piece before the event if it's truly important to the client. We'll confirm together that the piece is suitable for our setup.
We can learn more pieces, but this will incur an additional charge.

We only receive positive feedback on our performances.
We perform in a wide variety of settings, but we make the biggest impression when we're in a festive concert atmosphere. We are driven by sharing our music and love getting the audience dancing.
