I perform a curated mix of light classical (Gershwin, selections), evergreen melodies, waltzes, tangos and soft jazz to provide a warm, sophisticated soundtrack for restaurants, galleries and private tastings. My aim is elegant, audience‑friendly playing that complements conversation and ambiance.
I am a highly accomplished pianist, educator, accompanist, and adjudicator with a distinguished career spanning several decades.
In 1984, I was appointed resident pianist at the Performing Arts Council of the Transvaal (PACT), where I worked closely with the ballet department and regularly performed with orchestras and ensembles.
Since 2004, I have been deeply involved in music education, teaching piano, music as a subject, music theory, and harmony.
I obtained a Master’s degree in Music Education from the University of Pretoria in 2008, followed by a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) from UNISA in 2016.
I bring extensive experience performing solo and with ensembles at functions, restaurants, galleries and weddings.
