Experienced drummer available for live performances, fill-in gigs, rehearsals, and recording projects. I’m a reliable, prepared player who learns material quickly and shows up ready to contribute. Comfortable with rock, alternative, pop, and cover material, with a particular love for 90s alternative and groove-driven music. Looking to connect with bands and artists who value solid musicianship, professionalism, and a great team dynamic. Always up for a challenge.
= areas covered (up to 510 miles)
= free travel (up to 25 miles)
I grew up with 80's/90's stuff so the catalog of things I know is rather expansive.
space of about 5ftx7ft
Please provide the venue address, load-in instructions, parking information, and any details about stairs, elevators, or access points for bringing in equipment. Information about available space, stage setup, sound restrictions/limiters, and house sound equipment (PA, microphones, monitors, etc.) is also helpful.

Opened for Mushroomhead, Nonpoint and even The Contortionist, but the best was playing a show at Birdy's and just before it was time for our set, Prince's crew comes in and talks to the bar and next thing we know, we're being asked if it would be ok for Prince to take our slot. It was a night of metal bands and he happened to be in town and just finished up a show somewhere and wanted to play some more...of course we said yes. It was beyond magical.
Any time people are visibly into what's being done in front of them.
I started playing when I was 4 and my grandmother actually managed some bands in the early-mid 90's and I would routinely sit in on songs here and there for bands she was managing at the time.
My playing has been heavily influenced by bands like TOOL, Deftones, Incubus, RUSH, 311, and Coheed and Cambria. I’m drawn to drummers who bring creativity, groove, dynamics, and personality to the music rather than just playing a beat.
My biggest influences are bands like Deftones, TOOL, Incubus, 311, RUSH, and Coheed and Cambria. The drummers from these bands have shaped my approach to creating parts that serve the song — balancing groove, dynamics, texture, and feel.
Deftones have probably been the biggest influence on my playing, especially Abe Cunningham’s ability to lock into a deep groove while still bringing creativity and personality to every song. Choosing the greatest song of all time is impossible, but "Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)" or even "Passenger" or "Knife Prty" are songs that capture the kind of atmosphere and emotion that inspires me as a musician.
Setup time depends on the venue and gig requirements, but I typically allow 60–90 minutes for setup, soundcheck, and preparation. Performance length is flexible depending on the event, whether it’s a fill-in gig, cover set, or original music project. Happy to discuss timing and expectations ahead of the event. With my current band we're playing with a click, so we can run a pretty tight ship as far as a set goes.
As long as it's not hotter than hades or too cold for equipment.
I can generally play whatever is needed.
I'm pretty energetic and entertaining to watch. Whenever space allows I normally setup sideways, facing stage right so people can watch what I'm doing.
there are waaaay to many to possibly remember, let alone list.
