I love playing at all sorts of events; but I prefer corporate, private and wedding events. The guests at these events tend to be engaged and invested in the music I'm providing.

I started gigging while at UCLA and my performances developed from there. Since I started I’ve performed at hundreds of weddings, parties and events across the United States.

Paquito D'Rivera and Benny Goodman

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

I normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up and perform 45 minute sets as for the booked time for the gig requires.

Are you happy to perform outside?

I'm happy to play outside but I ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area, to ensure that my sound system does not overheat .

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

I can learn specific songs before the event, but I usually limit this to 3 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire, or let us choose the music for them.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers would describe us as a high energy group that loves to get the audience on their feet dancing and give you a showman-like experience.

What is included in your performance?

My groups specializes in Cuban music, Latin Jazz, Jazz and all types of Latin music, but can also perform classical music. We include DJ services in between our sets without lights for all of our events and groups.

My sound system is state of the art, we feature two sets of the Bose F1 Model Loudspeaker and Subwoofer systems, or the Bose S1 Pro+ for smaller events. We use the world class Harmon Soundcraft signature mixers and the Yamaha MTU mixers for our Latin Duo. Our microphone cables are the top notch Mogami and Canare cables. As for our microphones, we feature the Shure beta 58, Shure 58 Dynamic and Sennheiser mics.

I arrive 2hrs before the gig to set up and to run a sound check.
