Diana de Cabarrus is a passionate and versatile singer, guitarist and songwriter whose career has spanned all kinds of events, original releases, live sessions, theatre, and countless joyful performances across the UK and beyond. With a deep love for connecting through music, she has dedicated herself to her craft—studying vocals, guitar, and songwriting, and exploring a wide range of musical styles along the way.
Her performing highlights reflect a spirit of collaboration and adventure: sharing a stage with Michael Palin to perform a Monty Python classic, leading mass busking sessions at the Edinburgh Fringe, and recording live sessions on BBC 6 Music with the legendary Tom Robinson. Diana has also worked extensively in theatre and pantomime, and collaborated with outstanding musicians in London, Edinburgh, and the USA.
Whether she's playing to an intimate audience in a care home or leading a sing-along in a packed festival crowd, Diana brings warmth, energy, and joy to every performance.

If it's background music I'd ususally be seated, if it's covers I'd be standing. I'd need a parking space and 2 x 13 amp power sockets if bringing a PA.

I enjoy all kinds of events where people are gathered together to enjoy connecting.
I've been performing for 20 years in all kinds of different bands and styles, from original music to ceilidhs to pop to rock to folk and jazz.
Influences include David Gilmour and Pink Floyd, The Pixies, PJ Harvey, Neil Hannon and The Divine Comedy, Django Reinhardt, The Beatles, Blur, Stevie Wonder.
I can't possibly pick a favourite song, it changes; I just appreciate enjoying different things at different times.
I typically arrive 1-2 hours ahead of performance time depending on the set up. Typical performance times 2 x 45 sets work well. At some events there might be a 30-45 minute set of instrumentals and a set of covers later.
Yes, a flat surface and access to power is great.
I am happy to discuss set lists with clients and to include one or two special requests to work out the best fit for their event.
