We need two plugs on separate circuits (no stove plug needed) and a performance space of about 15' x 20' (no stage required, and we can usually make any size space work within reason!) We also need parking for a cube van, if we're providing production (lighting and sound equipment).

We can provide sound and lights at cost. We'll arrange for three quotes and pick the best one, passing along the cost with no markup. You pay us, we pay the sound crew (and provide the invoice).
Yes, upon request we're happy to provide a plug-in for your phone or device. We can also arrange for you to use our mics etc. if needed. for a small fee (for the sound company).
We've toured internationally and played international jazz festivals, parties that included members of the Royal Family and former U.S. presidents, and we routinely play parties for top Fortune 500 companies. We've also played dive bars and small intimate home and restaurant venues.
We love any event were people feel free to get up and dance. Honestly that describes most of the functions we play - we know how to fill a dance floor!
We're all veteran musicians and were formerly an original jump blues / swing band who toured North America, Europe and Japan. We decided to also become a cover band for fun. Collectively we've played literally thousands of shows, but we still get excited for every audience!
We began as jump blues and swing band so we were heavily influenced by Louis Prima, Wynonie Harris etc. As a collective our influences vary across the six members from jazz, country & western music lovers, modern pop and indie and punk rock. It means we can play any genre from jazz to ABBA to AC/DC authentically and love doing it!
We have two female lead singers and four musicians - everyone on stage sings lead on and background vocals
We provide multiple, high-end costume choices, from basic black tie, to gold and silver suits, to a range of costume colour choices.
Generally our sound crew takes about two hours to set-up. We'll generally do a quick sound check and time everything to be out of the room before guests arrive. We typically play 3 hours of music in a night - you can choose the set length - e.g. 4 x 45 mins., 2 x 90 mins, 3 x 60 mins. etc.
Depends - we live in Canada so we can't play outside in winter because our fingers don't work! Playing in the rain is deadly, so we require no rain, or a cover. to perform. However we've played many great outdoor gigs!
Yes, we have a huge song list and clients are free to have a look and request. We're happy to learn one or two songs - for example a first dance or father-daughter dance - or a special corporate or event theme song.
