Hi, I'm Divine, an Ottawa-based singer-songwriter with original singles released on all major streaming platforms. My voice moves easily between genres, from soulful ballads to upbeat pop and R&B, so I can shape the music around your event instead of the other way around.
What I offer
Solo vocal performances or a small band lineup if your event calls for a fuller sound. I perform at weddings, corporate events, private parties, restaurants, holiday parties, and memorials, and I can cover every part of your day, from a heartfelt ceremony song to relaxed background music during cocktail hour to feel-good favourites that get people up and dancing.
Song requests
Have a special song for your first dance, walk down the aisle, or a meaningful moment? I'm happy to learn requests with a few weeks' notice, and I'll work with you on a setlist that fits your crowd and the mood you want.
Sets
Ceremony: about 30 minutes
Cocktail hour: about 60 minutes
Full event: two or three 45-minute sets
Why book me
I'm reliable, easy to work with, and I bring the same care to a small private dinner as I do to a big celebration. Every event matters, and I'll make sure the music makes yours feel special.
Send me a message with your date and event details and I'll get back to you with availability and a quote.

One of my favourite performances was Gala at 1265 Walkley Rd, Ottawa. Seeing the whole room go quiet during the first song is something I'll never forget. I was able to share new music and it was well received
I love weddings. There's nothing like singing during a ceremony and watching a couple hear their song for the first time as newlyweds. I also love private parties, where I can mix soulful moments with upbeat songs that get everyone dancing.
I've been influenced by so many artists, but Michael Jackson, Morgan Wallen and Céline Dion stand out. Michael taught me about performance and rhythm, Céline about power and control, and Morgan about storytelling and emotion. Going from pop and soul to big ballads to country is exactly why I love singing across genres. As for the greatest song of all time, it has to be The Gambler by Kenny Rogers.
