This is Daniel Drake Magic — close-up magic from Centurion, for children, for adults, and for rooms that mix both. Cards, coins, and miracles that happen in the hands of your guests.
No boxes. No lasers. No assistant in sequins. Birthdays, dinners, and family tables where the distance should be a few inches, not a stage.

From Centurion across Gauteng. I arrive, work the room up close, and leave while the argument about how that happened, is still going.

I performed a "street magic" show at Sun CIty, Valley of the Waves. It was a show arranged for half a day to have people engaged and expierience a pleasent day, for good media following.
My favourite kind of event is where people come together for the atmosohere created when people of different cultures and ethnicities come together. That in itself is magic, I like zoning in on that expierience to amplify the bliss to believe in something more than reality.
I performed a few tricks for close friends and family, to the point that I felt comfortable enough to perform at school. There I got recognition and got offered a gig for someone's 50-year birthday party. At this time I was only 16, the gig was a huge success and expanded my reach to bigger, better events. I began getting fixed gigs at various bars and nightclubs.
My greatest role models that motivated me, mentored me and made me grow confidence in my art, are Chris Ramsey, Shin Lim, Penn and Teller, David Blaine, Dynamo, Troy and a few more
I am available for travel, only through appointments 3 to 4 weeks in advance. Any exceptions to this agreement would be charged.
I normally arrive about an hour or two after the event has commenced. This is the point where people are lively, cheerful and having a good time. This makes the experience much stronger.
That does not matter to me, except for when rain is on the forecast. This is a crucial part of my show.
It's an equal amount of both.
I have had people tell me that I have made them a believer in magic, they used to be sceptics. I always leave people at a little loss for words.
