Love Hypnosis – Terms & Conditions These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings made with Love Hypnosis / Dylan Lovegrove for comedy hypnosis shows, corporate events, Christmas parties, private events, celebrity/high-profile content and other entertainment services. 1. Booking & Confirmation A booking is considered confirmed once the date, venue, performance details and agreed fee have been accepted by both parties. Love Hypnosis reserves the right to decline or refuse a booking where the proposed event, venue or circumstances are considered unsuitable. 2. Payment The agreed performance fee and any additional agreed expenses must be paid according to the payment schedule provided at the time of booking. Unless otherwise agreed, the booking fee/deposit is required to secure the date, with the remaining balance payable before or on the day of the performance. Any additional agreed costs, including travel, accommodation, parking or other expenses, will be confirmed with the client in advance. 3. Cancellation by the Client If the client cancels a confirmed booking, cancellation charges may apply depending on how much notice is provided. Where significant preparation, travel or other costs have already been incurred, Love Hypnosis reserves the right to retain appropriate amounts already paid. If a booking is cancelled at short notice, the full agreed performance fee may become payable. Any cancellation arrangements will be discussed with the client on a case-by-case basis and in accordance with applicable UK law. 4. Postponement & Rescheduling Where possible, Love Hypnosis will try to accommodate requests to move an event to a new date. A new date is subject to availability. If the new date cannot be accommodated, the booking may be treated as a cancellation. 5. Venue Requirements The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue is suitable for the performance and has any necessary permissions, licences, insurance and safety arrangements required for the event. The client should provide: A suitable performance area/stage Adequate lighting Safe access to and from the performance area Suitable seating for the audience A safe environment for volunteers and performers Access to the venue at the agreed arrival time Any specific technical or equipment requirements will be discussed before the event. 6. Audience Participation & Safety Comedy hypnosis is a voluntary form of entertainment. Audience members and volunteers must participate willingly and must not be pressured into taking part. Love Hypnosis reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone considered unsuitable, including anyone who appears intoxicated, unwell or otherwise unable to participate safely. The hypnotist's decision regarding volunteer selection and participation is final. Volunteers will not be asked to perform dangerous activities or activities that are reasonably foreseeable to cause injury. 7. Alcohol & Intoxicated Guests For safety reasons, Love Hypnosis reserves the right to exclude anyone who appears significantly intoxicated or otherwise unsuitable from participating in hypnosis. The client and venue are responsible for maintaining appropriate control of alcohol consumption and general audience behaviour. 8. Performance Duration The standard comedy hypnosis show is approximately 90 minutes, unless another duration has been agreed in advance. The exact running time may vary slightly depending on the event, audience participation and venue circumstances. 9. Delays The client is responsible for ensuring that the event is ready to begin at the agreed performance time. Where the performance is delayed because of circumstances outside Love Hypnosis' control, the performance may need to be shortened or adjusted to accommodate the available time. Where Love Hypnosis is required to wait for an extended period due to client or venue delays, additional charges may apply where agreed. 10. Travel & Accommodation Travel outside the agreed area may incur additional travel charges. Where an event requires overnight accommodation, accommodation and associated reasonable travel expenses may be charged to the client where agreed in advance. Any additional expenses will be communicated before the booking is confirmed. 11. Filming, Photography & Content For standard entertainment bookings, clients and guests may take photographs or record portions of the performance provided this does not interfere with the performance or compromise the safety or dignity of participants. For celebrity, influencer, YouTube, social media and high-profile content bookings, filming and content requirements will be agreed in advance. Where Love Hypnosis is specifically engaged to create content, the client will be responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions from participants, guests or other individuals appearing in the content. Any commercial usage, editing, distribution or licensing arrangements beyond the agreed booking should be agreed separately in writing. 12. Celebrity & High-Profile Bookings Celebrity, influencer and high-profile bookings may involve additional confidentiality, filming, security, scheduling or production requirements. Any specific requirements should be discussed and agreed before the booking. Love Hypnosis will respect reasonable confidentiality requirements agreed with the client. Love Hypnosis may only publicly state or promote its involvement with a celebrity, influencer or high-profile individual where appropriate permission has been obtained or where the information is already publicly available. 13. Corporate & Christmas Events Corporate and Christmas party performances remain subject to the same safety and participation requirements. The client is responsible for ensuring that the venue and event arrangements allow sufficient space and appropriate conditions for the performance. Love Hypnosis reserves the right to modify routines where necessary to suit the audience, venue or event. 14. Force Majeure Love Hypnosis will not be liable for failure to perform where circumstances outside reasonable control prevent the performance from taking place. This may include serious illness, accident, extreme weather, travel disruption, venue closure, government restrictions, natural disasters or other exceptional circumstances. Where reasonably possible, Love Hypnosis will attempt to arrange a suitable replacement performer or alternative date. 15. Performer Illness or Unavailability If Dylan Lovegrove is unexpectedly unable to perform due to serious illness, injury or another unavoidable circumstance, Love Hypnosis will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative professional performer or arrange an alternative date. If neither is possible, any payment relating to the unperformed booking will be handled fairly and in accordance with applicable law. 16. Client Responsibilities The client is responsible for providing accurate information about: Venue and event location Expected audience size Event timings Nature of the event Any relevant venue restrictions Any special requirements Any circumstances that could affect the performance Failure to provide important information may affect the ability to deliver the performance safely and effectively. 17. Right to Refuse or Stop a Performance Love Hypnosis reserves the right to refuse participation, modify routines or stop the performance where reasonably necessary for safety, legal, professional or welfare reasons. No refund will automatically be due where a performance is stopped because of unsafe behaviour, serious disruption, aggression, intoxication or circumstances caused by the client, venue or audience. 18. Liability Love Hypnosis will take reasonable steps to provide a professional and safe entertainment service. However, Love Hypnosis cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury or damage arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control or from the actions of clients, venues, guests or participants. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. 19. Changes to the Event Any significant changes to the venue, event type, audience size, performance requirements or timings should be communicated as soon as possible. Love Hypnosis reserves the right to review the agreed fee where substantial changes materially affect the requirements of the booking. 20. Agreement By confirming a booking with Love Hypnosis, the client acknowledges that they have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions are intended to provide a clear framework for the booking and do not affect any statutory rights the client may have under UK law.
