Elektric Mojo is an East End Toronto blues band that sprung out of The Blues Corner – a monthly outdoor jam in Leslieville.
Peter Briceno, a new Canadian from Venezuela had a dream to build a blues community. He organized a house band made out of his favourite musicians.
Since their formation in early 2024, the band has performed all over the East End - joined by some of the best blues musicians in the city.

from Venezuela had a dream to build a blues community. He organized a house band made out of his favourite musicians. We’ve been performing at various Toronto venues ever since!
We’re heavily influenced by an array of icons like Prince, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin, Amy Winehouse, Koko Taylor, Stevie Wonder, BB King and all the other Blues legends!
We normally arrive 2 hours before the performance to set up. We normally perform 2 x 60 minute sets. We’re happy to play a bit longer or shorter.
We’re happy to play outside but we ask for shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.
We can learn specific songs before the event but we usually limit this to 5 songs. The clients are welcome to pick a set list from our repertoire or let us choose the music for them.
