Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best gig you've ever done and the best venue you've ever worked at?

We are the number Afro-juju band in Norfolk and we have performed at the 2nd biggest event early this year in Norwich City and it was fabulous. We have signed the contract with Afrifest already as the main Artist to perform in August 2026 which is the biggest stage for festival/concert in Norfolk.

What's your favourite type of event?

We love at all sorts of events but Marriages and Birthdays are our favourite. The clients already knew that there will be a lot of energy and dancing.

What's your previous experience and how did you start gigging?

We started gigging back in Nigeria over 25 years and we have performed in government houses and for many dignitaries. We have also performed at carnivals, concerts, weddings and birthdays in the UK and we are open to performing all over the world where our craft will be appreciated.

Which artists have you been most influenced by, who is your favourite artist and what is the greatest song of all time?

King Sunny Ade and Sir Shona Peters . There crafts and creativity in the Afro-juju genre of music have been always been appreciated over the years by those who love the and listens to the rich African beats.

Performance Info

What are your typical setup and performance times?

We normally try as much as possible to be at the venue like 2 hours before performances so as to set up and balance the equipment. We are happy to work with the timing of our hosts for the duration to perform either 2 hours at a stretch or more than that. We observe the audience as we perform to give them the kind that of music they vibe best to.

Are you happy to perform outside?

We are happy to play outside but we will like to have a shade, a flat level surface and a power supply close to the performance area.

Do the clients have a say in what you play or is it a set repertoire list only?

We can learn specific songs before the event but we have our own creative style of delivery. The clients are welcome to suggest a short list of songs of there preference.

How do previous clients most commonly describe your performances?

Previous customers would describe us as high energy band who are always the highlight of party because we make the audience dance and listen to good music like they’ve never heard it before.
