Footnotes is a Paris-based jazz and tap dance ensemble offering dynamic, sophisticated performances that blend classic French chansons, New York swing, and Latin rhythms — along with a selection of original works. From cocktail receptions and gala dinners to festivals and private soirées, Footnotes bring rhythm, elegance, and style to every occasion.
The group features an accomplished lineup of international performers:
Wendy Lee Taylor – Jazz vocalist & tap dancer (Lido de Paris)
Ruby Boukabou – Tap dancer & host (Paris Tap Crew, The Paris Plan)
Philippe Petit – Jazz pianist (Swingin’ Affair, Caveau de la Huchette)
Cédric Caillaud – Double bassist (Thomas Dutronc, Manu Dibango)
Footnotes is also available in flexible formats — from an intimate trio (voice, piano, tap) to an expanded show featuring additional musicians (drums, horns, saxophone) and extra tap dancers.
All artists are experienced performers at high-end corporate, luxury, and cultural events and concerts across the globe.
The core Footnotes quartet also offer a full cabaret show called Parisian Time Step, a cabaret-style dinner/show available.
