We are Funk & Fable, an acoustic duo based out of South Wales with over a decade of experience performing together, so effortless chemistry is guaranteed. We currently hold a residency with The Botanist, alongside playing weddings and other private events. We both gained our degrees in Contemporary Music Performance from USW and love performing together!
Funk & Fable perform from a crowd-pleasing repertoire packed full of popular hits that everyone loves. From the 1960s to the present day, Funk & Fable cover iconic artists such as Bruno Mars, Fleetwood Mac, Dua Lipa and many more. From a laidback, live-lounge style or lively and upbeat Funk & Fable can tailor their live sets to suit any occasion, working closely with their clients to ensure every event is the very best it can be. Funk & Fable perform as an acoustic duo as standard, which consists of female vocals and acoustic guitar. However, they can also perform as a part of a larger lineup for occasions wanting a fuller sound. From a three piece acoustic outfit up to a full 5 piece electric band, complete with sax, Funk & Fable are well connected with industry professionals and can create the perfect line-up to suit your day.

We need a performamnce space of at least 3x3 meters. We also require 1x13 amp power socket (minimum) and 1 parking space (minimum)
We will need to know any directions to help us find the venue and the correct place to load in our equipment. Please also let us know if there is a sound limiter in the venue.
Yes, we're 100% self contained. We provide our own PA and a simple lighting rig.
Yes, we're happy to play music from spotify before, between, and after our sets. We're happy for the client to provide a playlist or we can choose the music ourselves.
We love to play at any events but we're most at home at a wedding or really any party. We like to see people dancing and having a good time!
We like to arrive with no less than 45 minutes set up time. We're happy to perform 2 x 1 hour sets or 3 x 45 minutes sets. These set times usually suit us and our audience best.
We're more than happy to perform outside provide we have some shade/shelter and a flat surface to set up on with power nearby.
We are happy to discuss special requests if there's a song that is special to our clients. But we try to limit songs outside of our repertoire to 5. We welcome our clients to choose some songs from our repertoire to help us build our set to their tastes.
