Looking for a unique, authentic Italian musical experience for your special day? Then look no further!
Furiosi Affetti is an Italian ensemble of professional musicians specialised in playing baroque music on period instruments.
Depending on your choice of venue and your musical preferences, your ensemble can range from 3 musicians - violin, cello and harpsichord, the smallest instrumental ensemble of the time – to an orchestra of 15 musicians (strings, winds and continuo), with the option of including singers too.
To provide a true baroque experience, our singers use vocal techniques appropriate to the music we perform and include male soprano or alto voices imitating the "castrato" singers of the period.
Together we will select the perfect sounds for your event from our extensive repertoire of sacred music, opera, instrumental pieces written by composers of 17th and 18th century like Monteverdi, Corelli, Telemann, Vivaldi and Bach.
For a true baroque Italian wedding experience, we also work with professional dancers and actors to delight your guests with theatrical performances while they eat.

The performance space we need depends on the number of musicians you want. You can consider at least 1 m x 2 m per performer and should a harpsichord/piano player be required minimum space of 2m x 4 m.
Indoor or outdoor? Are seats available? Is it easy to carry there big instruments like harpsichord, theorbo or double bass?
We usually play without amplification. If amplification and lighting are required, they would need to be provided by a third party.

We performed for the Prince of Monaco at the Court of the Palace. We played pieces by Manfredini and Roeser, two composers who worked for the monegasque principality during the 18th century. It was amazing to play in front of the Prince and his family.
We love playing at all sorts of events but we are a perfect ensemble if you are organizing an event in a historical venue.
We founded our orchestra in 2017. All of us are professional musicians who used to play in the principal orchestras of Italy.
We discovered the music by F. O. Manfredini and we can't stop playing it!
We normally arrive 2 hours before for a rehearsal and checking that everything is fine. We can play during a ceremony previous an agreement with the celebrant officiant. We can also play 2 or more times in other contests.
We are happy to play outside, but we ask for shade. Because we usually don't use amplification, it's better to have at least a wall behind the performers.
Any request is always welcome if made well in advance.
We are considered one of the best choices if you are organizing a "historical event" or an event in a historical building.
