We were delighted to invite GemmaOnSax to play on the St Edmundsbury Cathedral stage at the 2025 East Anglian Beer and Cider Festival. Gemma played a lively, hour long welcoming set as people were arriving for Stanton's VE Day afternoon celebrations. She was dressed in a smart, 1940s uniform and delivered a series of well researched, familiar songs from the era with gusto and aplomb, transporting us back in time. Her performance certainly set the mood for the afternoon, enabling the audience to enjoy these well-known songs on an alto sax and clarinet - each instrument chosen to best suit the song. Beautiful, well rehearsed melodies played by an accomplished, young musician. A real treat. Well done Gemma!
