The GS Jazz Group The GS Jazz Group - Duo, Trio, Quartet or 5 Piece Ensemble

Our performance space is dictated by the band configuration for the particular event and can range from a minimim of 4 x 8 feet for the Duo up to 12x7 for the 5 piece format.

To determine the appropriate soumd reinforcement sysyem for a venue we will need to know the sq. foot area, celing height and the number of attendees. Logistics of the parking and load in access for equipment as well as storage options for empty cases and transport carts.

We are self contained and only require access to AC power (20 Amp Service) within 20 feet of the performance area.

We can provide pre-recorded jazz music during breaks if requested.

We normally arrive about 90minutes before the performance to set up. We normally perform our iniyial set for 60 minutes followed by a 15 minute break and the remaining sets are 45 minutes long each followed by a 15 minute break this time configuration is for 2 to 5 hour performance lengths. We’re OK to play a bit longer or shorter in cases where the event's particulars didtate. For example if an event were 90 minutes long we would play for 90 minutes with no break.

Outside performances are possible weather premitting and when there is an inside alternative should weather conditions dictate (rain, snow, heat, cold and or wind). Outside performaces need to be in a covered area with access to AC power.

We can provide our song list if requested, ( 70-80 songs) and the client will have the option to select songs. We typically play 8-10 songs per set.
