We are very flexible when it comes to performance space. we just require easy access to electric power and of course, enough parking spaces for the band. at least, 4.

Yes, we can provide basic sound and light if needed for the event. We're also open to work with other sound/lights teams. Whatever works best for the event organizers!

Absolutely! We usually request wedding couples to make us a playlist with their favorite songs so that we can play those before our performance and during our breaks. We don't mind choosing music ourselves if needed! We do this for corporate events.

One the best gigs we've done was the Bolero Night in Arlington, TX. This was a night dedicated exclusively to bolero music and the crowd was so into it that they sang each song and even danced some. It was so much fun and so beautiful. The best venue we've worked at so far is probably the Levitt Pavilion; the staff, the audio, the logistics, everything was great!!

We love performing at all sorts of events! Each event has its beauty! From playing the couple's favorite song at their wedding, to singing a song at a festival that made someone cry cause it reminded them of their loved ones... Each gig is beautiful and a great opportunity to connect with people!

El Chanclazo was formed in 2019 in Dallas, TX at the Reveler's Hall in Bishop Arts. We wanted to showcase a repertoire that is not that commonly performed and to keep our traditional music alive... Since then, we've played at several festivals, private events, weddings, corporate parties all over North Texas.

Yes! Our bilingual repertoire includes Latin classics, romantic boleros, and popular favorites, perfect for weddings, corporate events, and multicultural gatherings in DFW.

Unless required differently, our sound people arrive 2 hours before the performance and the band arrives an hour and a half earlier to set up. we try to get our soundcheck done at least an hour prior the performance. On a regular event, we play 2x 45min sets or a 1x 90min set. Of course, times may change based on event and needs.

Absolutely! we just kindly ask for water and a shade and of course a power supply near the performance area.

We usually learn up to 3 specific songs if these are requested at least 6 months before the event. We can also provide a list of songs that we perform and let the clients pick their favorite ones.
