Karina Nistal has been known to align herself with diverse collaborations. She was raised in a Spanish speaking household to Cuban-Mexican American parents. Her music taste grew from the Salsa, Merengue, Mariachi, and Spanish Doo-Wop her parents were playing to the Rock, Hip Hop, and Reggae her siblings were playing. It was clear Karina loved music and went on to pursue it professionally after high school. She is now working on her eighth professional studio recording. Accompanied by the Cosmic Cats, they have been playing festivals, breweries, and local music events, while also playing some private events and nursing homes. In Karina’s words, “we just love to entertain people and we’ll go anywhere to do it”. Karina Nistal and the Cosmic Cats have played for audiences of 500+ or more opening for acts like Ramon Ayala, Kirk Franklin & The Family, Rebel Crew, DJ Sun, and much more!

We would need a minimum space size: 16 ft x 20 ft or recommended space size: 20 ft x 24 ft (480 sq ft). At least 2-3 power sockets and 3-4 parking spaces.
We need load in directions to the venue. We also need to know if there is a sound person or point of contact in case of questions onsite.
Yes we can provide our own PA system. However, a back line is helpful for travel.
Yes we’re happy to play music if necessary. We can choose the music or have the client select a playlist.
We performed for Armed Forces Entertainment for our troops. It was the most memorable and gratifying experience to date!
Our favorite type of events are festivals but we enjoy any opportunity to play!
