Luka Newland Solo Montreal based bassist, availiable to work in all genres.

A working bass amp.

The address.

No, I do not.

Yes, I've volunteered as a DJ at many events.

Bar de Courcelle with Condor Matador was all-around a pretty amazing experience.

The Paying Type.

I learned how to play primarily through church, playing bass at events there, meeting fellow musicians, and getting gigs from the choir director.

My favourite solo artist might be Billy Joel. He has written many of what I consider the greatest songs of all time: Scenes From an Italian Restaurant, All For Leyna, and Sleeping With the Television On.

No real preference, as long as I can plug in my bass and I know what the songs are ahead of time.

Yeah, no problem at all.

No real preference, as long as I know the songs before the gig.

My bass playing has been noticed, appreciated, and complimented by many listeners. One listener was quoted as saying, "Someone had better pour a bucket of water on the bassist, because he is on fire tonight," at a youth mass where I was playing.
