On the media team at my church I've had the ability to engineer for a lot of prominent gospel artists. Including Ricky Dilliard, Anthony Brown, Zacardi Cortez, John P. Kee, Jonathan McReynolds, Smokie Norful. My favorites were bringing in the new year with Ricky Dilliard and having John P. Kee perform at our yearly conference.
My favorite type of events are worship services!
I have been a sound engineer for 10 years. I started engineering at my church in Lindenwold, NJ, where at first it was just a hobby but later became my passion. It is a very large church and over the years, especially during my training stages, I have learned just how difficult engineering in a large size room can be. Because of this continuous training, I believe this has set me in the right direction to be able to take on larger venues, should the opportunities present itself. I truly believe that everything on stage has a story to tell. As the sound engineer, it is my job to make sure each instrument, percussion or vocal is able to clearly tell their story. I like to ensure that listeners are able to hear each story being told at an optimal level that's pleasing to the ear.
