IONIC duo Party 70s 80s 90s House dj set WITH LIVE VOCALS

IONIC is a DJ & live vocalist duo.
We require a suitable performance area with space for the DJ setup and, depending on the venue, a stage or raised platform.
The vocalist requires 2 stage monitors. We also require a professional sound system and standard power supply.
Exact technical requirements can be confirmed according to the venue and event setup.

We would require information about the venue’s location, available performance area and stage, sound and lighting facilities, power supply, access and setup arrangements, and expected audience capacity. Photos or a floor plan of the performance area would also be helpful.

As we are based in Greece, we do not travel with our own large PA and lighting system. However, for our IONIC - DJ Set with Live Vocals (70s, 80s, 90s Party) show, we do have the following essential technical requirements:

Sound:
- Professional PA system suitable for a live party (with subs)
- 1 x Professional Sound Engineer / Technician on site
- 2 x Stage Monitors
- 2 x Microphones (1 x wireless handheld + 1 x wireless headset for the vocalist)

Lighting:
- Stage lighting appropriate for a 70s/80s/90s themed party (e.g., moving heads, wash, disco effect)

Yes! We provide non-stop music all night with no gaps. Our DJ plays continuously with live vocals, and between songs to keep the dancefloor full. It's a full disco/club party vibe until the end. We don't use Spotify - all tracks are from our professional high-quality library on our laptop.

One of our best gigs was our last show at Rojas Live Athens - one of the best live venues in Athens. On Saturday 3rd October we performed for 300 people, full dancefloor all night with our 70s/80s/90s disco party show. We have video and photos from that night.

We also play frequently as guests in disco clubs across Greece. In summer 2024/2025 we toured many venues including Cabana Mare in Chania, Crete and Jackie O' Beach Club in Mykonos, where we have performed 6 times.

We love high-energy venues like Jackie O' where we can create a real disco / club festival atmosphere. Our show works perfectly for both beach clubs and premium live stages.

Our favourite type of event is a high-energy 70s, 80s, 90s disco / throwback party.

We love events where everyone is on the dancefloor from the first song to the last - corporate parties, private celebrations, beach clubs and summer festivals. Events where people want to sing, dance and relive the best disco era.

Our show is designed for exactly that: a non-stop DJ set with live vocals that feels like a Saturday night in a real disco club.

As a duo, IONIC started 1.5 years ago, but we both have many years of professional experience.

Our DJ was resident at Roxy, the biggest disco in Athens, and a producer/DJ at Athens Free Radio 98.1 FM (80s & 90s). He has played events with 2000+ people.

Our vocalist has many years of experience as a professional singer, with multiple TV appearances and collaborations with major names in the Greek music industry.

We started IONIC 1.5 years ago to create a non-stop 70s/80s/90s disco party show - DJ set + live vocals, no gaps.

Since then we have performed at Shapel Crete (1000+ capacity), Jackie O' Mykonos (x6), Cabana Mare Chania, and Rojas Live Athens (300 people).

The legends of disco and funk - Bee Gees, Donna Summer, Chic, ABBA, Earth Wind & Fire, Michael Jackson, Madonna, Diana Ross and Gloria Gaynor. Artists who created music to make people dance together and feel good - that's what we try to bring to every show.

Favourite artist: Bee Gees - they defined the disco era with timeless songwriting that still fills every dancefloor today.

Greatest song of all time: For a disco act like us, it's Bee Gees - Stayin' Alive. From the first second, everyone knows it and the dancefloor is full - from 20 to 70 years old. That's the magic of a true classic.

Setup: We don't bring a full PA. We are very easy to host.
The DJ needs only 15 minutes to set up his equipment (controller/laptop) - we just need a table and 2 power sockets.
For soundcheck, we need around 30 minutes before the show, depending on the venue's sound engineer and the room.
We use the venue's sound system and we bring our own microphones.

Performance times: Flexible. Standard is 2 to 4 hours non-stop with no gaps - continuous disco party.

Yes, absolutely! We love outdoor events.
We perform outdoors all summer in Greece - beach clubs like Jackie O' Mykonos, Cabana Mare and Shapel Crete.
We also regularly play at private parties, weddings, corporate events, villas and yachts / boats.
As long as there is cover for the DJ equipment and power supply, we are happy to perform anywhere - beach, garden, rooftop, villa, yacht, festival.

For private events like weddings, private parties, villas and yachts - yes, the client can have a say, but it has to be agreed in advance. We can include first dance songs, favourite anthems or exclude songs they don't want. We can send our repertoire list beforehand to choose from.

For disco clubs, beach clubs, music stages and similar venues - no. During the live show we never accept deviations. Our set is pre-planned and adapted to the venue.

Generally, we know what we are doing. We know what it takes to make people dance and have a good time. That's our job.

Our clients most commonly describe our performances as a high-energy, non-stop party with a full dancefloor all night.

The most common feedback we get is:
"You didn't let the dancefloor empty for a second"
"The best disco night we've ever had"
"Amazing energy and showmanship"

We are DJs, musicians and performers - not just playing tracks, but putting on a real 70s/80s/90s disco show with percussion, dance and interaction with the crowd.

People always ask us about our next events so they can come again, and we very often book our next private parties and weddings directly from guests who saw us perform live.
